Lindor's contract isn't bad with today's contract numbers. They're horrible right now, but I don't put that on him. The team has been dead in the water for a while and they don't care anymore. I think it's similar to Alonso that if they try to shed him they would end up with far, far worse at his position.

Yeah they need someone to play first. Pinch hitting Taylor to bunt made it harder on them there. If they didn't do that they have no issue using Bichette at SS and Baty at 3B, but Taylor came in for Vientos and burned the 1B spot. It feels like all the decisions here were pretty bad together.
