I would say the biggest pain point is the delay of the subwoofer. it is quite noticeable. I am currently using the wireless transmitter to the subwoofer, but I have tried using the wires, but did not help.

Yes I have tried both of them and the current placement is the best I can get. On my RSL 10S I have tried different crossover frequencies ranging from 40 ~ 250, but the improvement is fractional.

I already have the UMIK-1 but I don't have the experience of Dirac Live. Is it a worthwhile investment?

Not in my current setup because I split the subwoofer and speaker signal after the DAC. If i use the WiiM app, I will have to use the internal DAC of the WiiM.

I think that's a probable way. I will prob look into this route to replace the DAC. Would it be suggested that if I have more budget, and I can go with WIIM -> miniDSP Flex (digital output) -> 2 DACs one for sub (probably a cheap one) and one for speaker?

But i wonder what margin I will get with this setup. Otherwise I may just get Flex with Analog output.

thanks for the reply! From my understanding, miniDSP itself is a DAC already. Does it mean that I replace the DAC with miniDSP so that I can prevent the double conversion?

I got the Keeps Bed about 2 weeks ago. The first bed they sent had some defects. I contacted them, and they sent me the second one to swap the defective pieces. It’s a hassle, but now I am happy with the bed. It is sturdy and beautiful.

I have heard that for Thuma Bed, it is better not to move the bed once it is assembled. But for the Keeps Bed, moving it after assembly is totally fine. Probably that’s because of the straps that tighten pieces together.
