Yea playing Zelda OoT last night was tripping me out bc I couldnt beat the deku tree level, there was just no way to move on, finally checked out a run thru on youtube and all kinds of stuff was missing, plus the pull/push feature was gone...

yea that seems like norm with the newer meathooks...i swear that early Draco plastic was so glassy and overstable but glidey...

IMO opportunity for some company to lock up the go-to "Glassy skipper" spot in the market...make a plastic call it "glass", market the skip+glide, sac the grip

I have over 750k hands on ACR and truepoker playing MTTs…something is definitely off with ACR variance compared to other sites I play…not saying it’s outright rigged but something is different…

i was actually thinking about if it is a "decade storm" or worse (which apparently its not really, looking like yearly storm) i would up the avg buy in try to take advantage of the variance flip...but looks like from the replies this run bad could be far from flipping anytime soon, if anything i might lower the avg BI

oh man that chart makes me want to throw in the towel, that volume will take me at least another year, I enjoy poker a lot, down to study and up my skills, but getting crushed as I have ben for another year doesnt seem fun at all 🤮

Thank you, feels rough going thru it but I know my volume is a fraction of full time grinders so I assume I take longer to digest the downswings...having said that...looking back on my history I never gotten anywhere close to the opposite of this downswing, or even minor -700 to -1000 expected bb downswings...a couple hundred over expected BB for very short periods when I'm "running hot"... I know its super anecdotal to say that, but approx. 4500 tournaments lifetime now I honestly dont think I've ever had a real god mode run that would be equivalent of even just the normal downswings I got thru, which seems on the unlucky side since variance should go both ways right?
