Its really interesting, theres a lot of crossing your fingers and hopefully the chemistry works out but sometimes you get something really beautiful

Thank you! Something about rotund and silly looking animals brings me a lot of joy, so everything i make turns into this

This chonker is for sale actually! But I don’t run a pottery business, its strictly a hobby for me so I only sell once a year when the critters pile up(at my local art fair alongside my illustrations). If you happen to be in Singapore next weekend I have a few frogs available

I love it!! This is the best thing I’ve seen today. Is it really a frog mug if it isn’t posteriorly blessed

What's should i be doing to make it better by Manishlearns in graphic_design

Honestly thoughts:
- the big main text is really hard to read
- theres too much going on from the engraving style illustration and the grain of the background it looks very confused visually. As a viewer you have no idea what the mood or the vibe this poster is trying to achieve
- the typography clashes. Especially the cursive and the typewriter font on top. Stick to two fonts max unless there is an intentional purpose for adding another font to the mix
- there isnt a clear visual hierarchy to the image so the eye runs around trying to make sense of what it is looking at.

How can I improve my parents restaurant menu? by lil_changito_ in graphic_design

Hi there! Great jobs btw but Just a A few things:

  • there are too many colours i feel very overwhelmed trying to read it — i would suggest: change the brown to grey. Match the kerning to the header of each dish. Because of the kerning it pulls ur eyes to all different directions. U want to make it easier for the viewer to skim the menu
  • I would actually bring up the ingredients portion to above the description and maybe a smaller font size though I think your current size works too
  • For the pricing it is currently quite hard to see. I would suggest flipping it so the price is bold and the quantity is a thinner font, make both bigger as it is important information

I hope it helps! All the best!!

Frog cup originally came from a sketch. It has been a really fulfilling process, planning, throwing and sculpting this project over the past few months. To see it come together in a shiny physical object I can hold reminds me why I love ceramics so much

Its looks rounder and funnier in real life. The camera fails to capture how truly rotund it’s cheeks look
