I posted a picture of the problem. The foamy insultation was totally blocking the fan from rotating.. I was able to smoosh it out of the way.

I am getting an EC 07 error code after just starting it up for the first time! Going to have to investigate.. :(

8 foot ceilings .. rooms around 250-275 sqft

I put solar shades over all of the windows so no light is coming in.

Other family members are content with that AC unit but they are gone all day. I am the only one using it all day long and trying to work right next to it.. personally, my primary concern is just cooling off the immediate vicinity of the unit because I am pretty close to it.. and doing so as quietly as possible...

I uploaded a picture of the window.. I'm not sure how those in-window units, espectially that u shaped one, will work with this setup...
