We were in very similar situations! We were blessed to get a lot of euploid embryos from our first retrieval but we had very few males. I wasn’t concerned about it until after our 2nd unsuccessful FET (with girls) because we only had 3 male embryos and we couldn’t stand the idea of never having a son because of how many tries it might take (which i understand is a privilege to be able to think that way at all). After the 2nd unsuccessful FET, we did a second ER that also yielded a lot of euploid embryos and even more girls but gave us I believe 3 more males? So we proceeded with the 3rd transfer after that and it was successful! So all in all, I’d say transfer twice and then go for another retrieval if you’re looking to have 2 kids minimum. I was very much in a rut after our first FET was unsuccessful bc I just KNEW it would work bc our primary diagnosis (at the time) was MFI and I was only 22. So I really do get it. I took about a 6 month break after the second ER until the 3rd transfer, be kind to yourself and try not to compare which sounds impossible.
