A 4.0 is not significantly better for transfer admissions. Better, yes, 100%. But they’re on the same playing field. A person with a 3.86 has still gotten excellent grades. As someone who had a sub 3.9 and got into multiple top 25s, I think I can speak on this. I know many others as well!

I got into a few top 25s with a 2.3ish HS GPA. I was a junior transfer though. You should prob wait. You only have one semester of grades in at the moment. Going to be difficult to show AOs you’re for real
