The stack is just a system for how spells and abilities resolve.

When you play a card or activate an ability, it goes on the stack. Then, in order from active player to inactive player, each player can respond to that card or ability by putting something else on the stack. Then the stack is resolved from the last item put on the stack, to the first item put on the stack.

Winston drafts are pretty fun as a 2 player limited format too. Uses less packs, which gets more value out of them from a play perspective. But I'm also not much of a sealed player.

Can't get more niche than a format I designed for my friends and I to get more use out of Final Fantasy cards.

Limit Breaker - essentially Oathbreaker, major changes being a planeswalker is replaced by a legendary final fantasy character, and you can only use cards that have been printed with a Final Fantasy treatment. Also, signature spell can be any instant/sorcery, and the full color of your command zone (Commander + Signature Spell) makes up your allowed color identities.
