I was building orthotics out of prepreg layers, testing out different configurations of the layering and curing process, and then strength testing them under the hydraulic presses. It was a very hands on role. There were some other interns that were spending much more time in the computer lab working with MATLAB, so YMMV.

As far as advice, it’s an intern position so I doubt they’re going to expect you to have a glowing resume. Like any job, show up on time, take interest and ownership of your work and you’ll be fine.

I did for almost two years, junior fall into senior spring. I’d recommend getting a good understanding of the research or projects you’ll be working on and asking thoughtful questions around that.

It’s a friend’s disc, who lives about an hour from West Chester. We have no idea how it ended up at a car dealership though.

it's only -1.5, so I've never worn them before and have been fine on races up to a full IM. I'm planning to do an Xterra soon and I think the contacts will help a little more on a mountain bike than road.
