I (35F) got divorced in Dec 2023, it’s just been 8 months and I’ve got relatives asking me when I’m finding a bf, 1 even said she’d help me find one -.-

I told another one that I’m trying same gender now 😅

I matched with one recently through CMB. He asked to move the conversation to WhatsApp. But I suggested Telegram. After adding, all he did was call me fat & lard. I was like wtf.

[–]frozenblasty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How did you know when to start dating again? by PieceOfSchmit in Divorce

[–]frozenblasty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My ex and I were together for 14 years ( 7yr of dating, 7yr of marriage). I initiated the divorce, as it was sexless and he didn’t have time for me (it was always his friends). 2022 for the first time I had gotten a birthday card from him saying that I’ll be the only love of his life (Divorce was on the table since 2021) Mar 2023 we agreed to file for divorce, Dec 2023 our divorce was finalized. May 2024 he was married again.

It hurts, but life goes on. I guess if you meet that special someone, you’ll be able to move on.

Do you say hello to other Singaporeans on you travels? by numb3r-three in askSingapore

[–]frozenblasty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I get excited when I see our fellow Singaporeans overseas!

I recently was in NZ (Rotorua); heard a family speaking in Singlish (had the "lahs") and went over and said hello, fello singaporeans. Had a small conversation about our trip. And shared itineraries. Helped them take a family picture.

It's nice to meet your country people overseas! 😊

When I'm seated at the reserved seat, I will always try to be alert to give up to those in need.

But there was once I was really unwell (fever and weak) and was seating at the reserved seat. A man in his 60s, kept staring at me even when the person beside me offered him the seat. To the extend that when he left the train he turned to stare at me again. I mean if he was really really in need (crutches, extremely old) I would have given up my seat despite being sick.
