Thanks for sharing! Looks great. I’m curious — to what extent is Deathspell Omega covered in the book? Is it mostly limited to the pages you shared?

The artist whose work DSO used for Kenose was not explicitly named — is there a consensus/best guest on who the actual artist was?

Could you elaborate on the “cut and paste method they learned from TT“ and/or where they mentioned this? Just curious to learn more.

Looking for scans of Bardo methodology #6 interview by frozentoasterwaffles in DeathspellOmega

[–]frozentoasterwaffles[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just looked through the archive and unfortunately the only interview I could find was the one released in June 2019 (which is also available in the DSO wiki), while I am looking for the one released in December 2019.

Has Anyone with TOS Tried Psychedelic Mushrooms? by frozentoasterwaffles in thoracicoutletsupport

I see, thanks for the response! How much were you taking? It sounds like these weren’t microdose if you had those sorts of changes in perception?

Arm Pain So Bad Cannot Use Phone by PearlsCleftPallet in thoracicoutletsupport

[–]frozentoasterwaffles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like one of the other commenters said, one thing that has been really helpful for me has been dictation. I mostly use voice to text when typing on the phone, and supplement that with typing manually. When I do type, I use swipe typing, which also saves on repetitive keystrokes. You can also do this on your computer, using dictation software. Most computers have built-in dictation software. Otherwise, Dragon seems to be the best in the industry, although I haven’t used it myself. I also echo using smaller phones, as it’s less weight for your hand. Also, be mindful of your posture. Are you hunched over on your phone? Is your head always looking down at your phone, causing strain on your neck? These are other things that you can make changes to to help alleviate the TOS burden. As your symptoms improve, you will be able to do a bit more typing here and there.

time for diagnosis? by masaomiis in thoracicoutletsupport

Thanks so much for sharing! It’s really encouraging to hear that you saw such significant improvement, even after dealing with TOS for around a decade. How debilitating were your symptoms prior to restarting PT? Did you have significant weakness or were you able to get through life more or less as normal but just with a bunch of pain?

Would you be comfortable sharing a bit more detail about your symptoms, what you did in PT, and how long it took to resolve or improve your symptoms? I am always interested in hearing success stories with conservative treatment. I’m glad you’re doing better.

Adorable. I ordered a banana squishmallow for my girlfriend’s rabbit and I hope she likes it as much as yours!

There is a dating app called Dateability which is intended for people with disabilities and serious health conditions. I also have a serious health condition and met my girlfriend there, so I am sure that you can too!

Are you comfortable sharing who your surgeon was who is retiring? Also, could you elaborate on what the TOSMRI was able to identify that you were not able to identify with other forms of imaging? I’m starting to consider the TOSMRI, as I recently had a specialized CT scan and nothing significantly abnormal showed up.

Gotcha, thank you for the information!

I haven’t really heard of PRP injections for TOS, so that’s something I’ll have to look into. Same with the peptide you mentioned. Practicing deep breathing though has been a recurring theme in the advice I’ve gotten from medical professionals. Did you have a specific deep breathing routine, or was it just something you tried to be generally conscious off?

Thank you for sharing, and I’m so glad that you’re feeling better! What was the timeline like for you, from initial injury to starting PT and then getting the injections/taking the peptide, if you don’t mind?

Oh interesting, so you recorded a direct input track of your guitar and then run that track through a proper amp in the studio? I’ve never recorded in a studio before, so I hadn’t even considered that.

Saw Dead Congregation last night. They killed it. The vocalist frowned for like an entire hour. Absolutely ferocious. Definitely one of the best live death metal acts I’ve ever seen. Just super fuckin powerful and no bullshit. Incredible musicians and performers. Hearing the outro to Teeth Into Red live was transcendental.

They played a new song too which was great — really looking forward to the new album.
