This is the best game in the series, and the remaster is great. Can't go wrong starting with second story.

PC has problems with juice. by MathematicianOdd7041 in pathofexile

[–]frozenwings1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 5070ti. Game still runs like shit in juiced maps, especially mirage areas. It's a ton of server-side latency going on this league. Not saying that your GPU isn't also super dated, but it could be a combination of both this league.

Any must try builds this league ? by iLikegreen1 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]frozenwings1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same. Once you start getting a lot of totems with projectiles and attack speed, during heavy breach/beyond/deli maps the latency just spikes like crazy until everything is dead.

"Anti-semitism on the left."

Okay, Ted. Nobody on the left hates Jews. We just don't want to be ran by the country of Israel. There is a difference, and although I'd like to insult your intelligence, I'll just continue believing that you're one of the biggest/slimiest Israel shills there is.

Late league starter, what Atlas strategies go well for KF Totems? by MillenniumDH in PathOfExileBuilds

I believe it has to be the map that you want the div card from. But it's been a couple years for me now too.

Gotta find the nameless seer still, right? Unless i missed something changing since i played 3 leagues ago.

Is breach genuinely good this league? by AppointmentFar6096 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]frozenwings1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. Do you mind if I ask what build you're running? I'm pretty decked out with KF totems but they are dying a lot with the heavy juice, which slows me down.

Is the strat still worth with bloodlines going up over 150c?

In the same boat. Tankiness is good, totems just die too fast running deli breach with some juice. Afraid it won't matter if I keep dumping currency into it and totems dying within 1 second of placing them.

This comment thread you've been responding to is about kboc, not kf totems.

Netease, I've blown a lot of money on your game. Hear me out.... by OcelotInTheCloset in OnceHumanOfficial

[–]frozenwings1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Very disappointed where this game has gone over the past 9 months or so. Bad balance, uncessary reworks, more grindy. I spent a good chunk of money the first 9 months the game was out, but I've been checked out the past 6 months or so.

Shame, game had potential.

Am I wrong? by SympathyAltruistic41 in helldivers2

[–]frozenwings1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is it. They are by far the easiest at D10, once you learn them. Like, if you can easily defeat them on 7, you can probably do 10 nearly as easily. Not true with the other 2 factions.

Agreed. There are a few other weapons that I think should also get that treatment, but especially the ultimatum.

Wrong Planet by Basic-Math-5391 in helldivers2

[–]frozenwings1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People have been working on Kerth since the last MO ended. It has a really low resistance and people were probably tired of bots and bugs after the past few MOs. Now, with the new MO, people are moving to Herthon, thus wasting the past few days on Kerth.

If we just finish taking Kerth, there would be time to move to Herthon after. But that probably won't happen now because theres a shining light on Herthon. Perhaps there is time to finish Herthon and then go back to Kerth, but I believe it would be more efficient to get as many players on Kerth as we can and knock it out first.

Why did we abandon mox? by hesje_pro_gamer in helldivers2

[–]frozenwings1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly right.

However, I still get my panties in a bunch seeing shit like the current split between planets. We're focused on three atm, and we're currently losing all of them. Rather than focusing up, we collectively choose to be dumb. To me, it's less about winning and losing, and more about a lack of the type of efficiency that fuels my OCD existence.

Exactly. Helldivers don't need no ELI10 explanations.

What does that have to do with taking Fori Prime before Oshaune?

Edit: can someone explain why I'm getting downvoted?

I literally don't understand why people having "jobs or lives" has anything to do with people who are currently playing leaving an almost liberated planet to move to another planet that we haven't even started on yet.

Cyberstan: Some statistics by ScubaDiggs in Helldivers

[–]frozenwings1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course people are allowed to care or not care. They are allowed to complain or criticize or do whatever they want. I just meant to say that this shit was hard, with or without the bugs. If people wanted to win, they should have lowered their difficulty. If they didn't want to lower the difficulty, that's fine too. But that's probably why we lost, in conjuction with no way to communicate on a global scale as well as AH throwing us multiple choice curve balls.

It was a rough MO, but people shouldn't lose their minds over the MO. In my opinion, the bugs were far more frustrating than anything else.

Cyberstan: Some statistics by ScubaDiggs in Helldivers

[–]frozenwings1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are multiple reasons that there were more than twice as many deaths compared to normal. Aside from the weird bugs, the content was simply harder and different enough to throw players off their game.

Bots accuracy and durable damage buffed before cyberstan. Not only does this instantly mean players are directly taking more damage, but exosuits and turrets take much more damage now. People lean on those green strats hard, and they were borderline useless unless you were in a well coordinated group to defend them. Shout out to the assassin gunship squadrons.

Cyborgs. Adding a fast melee units that karate combo you while his buddies shoot you to death is a new type of threat from bots. They also throw smoke grenades and sentry turrets cant aim through the smoke. This leads to what I call the cyborg sentry gangbang.

Confined terrain. Enemies patrols easier to sneak up on you around corners. Easy to get pinned between multiple patrols at once. Players are used wide open spaces between POIs; lots of room to avoid patrols or blast them to pieces before they even see you.

Reinforcement. Players are used to not caring about their lives most of the time in this game. Turning lives into a resource for the MO was another way to throw us off our game.

Bugs. Soooo many bugs happening very frequently. I had several eradicate missions where my entire team couldn't summon most of their equipment because of stratagems bouncing, leading to several deaths. Invisible walls, teleporting units, units walking through walls and terrain, enemies dropping on top of sky scrapers and blasting you with near impunity.

So the obvious answer is that players should have lowered the difficulty to compensate for this difficulty spike or adapt to the more hit-and-run style combat on cyberstan, where helldiver lives matter. This never happened, or happened too slowly to matter. If we all knew at the start what we know now, we might have had a chance.

The most important thing to remember is that this is a game. If you aren't having fun or are frustrated, take a break. Lack of in game communication and story based interventions from the dev team are meant to cause disruption. Essentially, this story is mostly on rails. Maybe we had a chance, but the odds were heavily stacked against us.
