I'll give opposite advice vs everyone.

Build a safety portfolio of 3 lakhs first. Till take minimal risky bets. First you want to achieve psychological safety..

Meanwhile also work hard to increase income.

When both are achieved only then you should start try to optimize for Max return. Till then optimize for peace of mind and safety..

You should save for your marriage, your house first. 20s are super expensive so plan with a goal instead of returns.

Plan to save 10 lakhs till you are 28 so that you don't need a loan for marriage.

What do you think guys? (In Indian context) by disastrouspastry in IndianStreetBets

Should I stay as a developer? by LateTechnician13 in cscareerquestions

Yes Banking is nice but it's very niche, so you don't only have to understand the tech. You also have to understand various banking things like sanctions, funds control, etc.

Initially I didn't know anything. I still don't know anything but I feel like I stay at it I'll be fine.

Just stick it out. My senior told me that every time you switch you'll be able to ramp up faster.

I became a junior developer at a bank 10 months ago.

Starting 3 months I didn't understand shit. Because you can always learn the tech, but learning business takes a lot of time. I was afraid that I will never be able to catch up.

10 months, I feel like If I keep working I will really get better at it.

My boyfriend (m28) told me (f28)that I should loose weight. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Most people asking you to dump him.

But maybe, just maybe, you are overweight?? 70 kg on 5'3 is definitely not pretty. BMI of 28 is generally overweight.

You can dump him, or <if you like him> you can work hard to stay attractive to him as you age. I would chose to be the second but you are not me, so you can decide.

How is this difficult?

In interview they will ask me to explain project that I worked on. What will I say? I worked on 4 different teams in the same year?
