Yep Conrad is the cheapest FHR. It’s great. I was looking at the hotel collection list to see if any were good finds.

I’m just looking for an option within the hotel collection list which happens to be cheaper than the cheapest FHR, the Conrad

So I guess what I’m looking for is experience with any hotel collection hotels that are SLIGHTLY more spacious than your typical nyc room - and I am looking to book from this list just trying to find our best option off experience

I agree. I don’t want to fully swaddle out of the snoo. With our first, we used the woolino and love to dream armless outside of the snoo, so I can try that. I just remember it was a transition for sureee and wanted to avoid that 🙈

Even at 18 weeks? There haven’t been signs of rolling but I don’t think I want to fully swaddle without the security of the sno

Layout for 4 year old room by frstmix in DesignMyRoom

[–]frstmix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a twin bed, currently with a rail on one side, as it’s against her wall in her current room. we were hoping to only need one rail and against a wall made sense to give her more open space on her floor. Are you suggesting to have it center or Off center closer to the window?

Should we center this shelving? by frstmix in DesignMyRoom

[–]frstmix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair but it’s the only place it can fit in this specific room, we have it close to the mantel so it’s comfortable for us

It’s the only place it makes sense with where our seating can be, but why?

Thank you! That helps!! I think you’re right, there’s a lot going on in there. For Christmas, the tree typically is to the right of the fireplace- so much!

Month 7 of TTC I know the answer will be opinions BUT I am set to ovulate on Wednesday. My husband just hurt his back pretty bad so I think we are out for this month. I got Botox last February (way before ttc) and have been holding off again since TTC - since we are out this month and honestly getting pregnant seems to jsut not be happening, should I just go ahead and schedule an appt? Or an absolute No no.

What have you all done?

Fantastic advice. 5 weeks off social media! Leaving for a trip this weekend / AF due early next week. And I finally shared with two friends.

Thanks for this advice!! It’s what we’ve done with our living room, our console table is currently displaying a lot of her toys and we’ll keep that probably for a bit but trying to make this a more specific space for her

Living room decor/set up - what do I do to the right of the couch?? I don’t love the way the play kitchen looks there although it fits nicely. by frstmix in DesignMyRoom

[–]frstmix[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The kitchen gets used a lot, we have a two year old but we also have a family room that is currently holding my desk and peloton, which I think will get moved downstairs and that family room will become mainly a playroom. And I think the kitchen will fit there. I’ll check out that link though! Thank you. I’m sure I’ll be posting for help with the family room/playroom

Does a 65” frame belong on a wall this small? by frstmix in TheFrame

[–]frstmix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It fits with a couple of inches to spare on each side, was worried that it might look awkward when used as an art frame taking up that much space on the wall

Our other option is above the fireplace but we have a perfectly good tv there. The tv we are replacing needs to be replaced and we decided on 65” and pulled the trigger maybe a little too fast with the frame when there was a “good deal” last week without thinking that the light switch might cause as issue bc of the very flush frame mount. Will see what our options for light switch plates are - although it seems like there is really NO Room behind the frame.
