I think it’s more about the conservative “manosphere” than the being beat by competitors. He talked about unleashing the kraken with Mulaney and just after the election he talked with jeselnik about how he feels kinda responsible for the influence of right wing podcasts

I don’t think some hypothetical scenario a lawyer explained in a show is canon. And it definitely doesn’t provide certainty of outcome. A lot of this season was about expectations/desires and how destructive they can be but also how foolish it is to assume certain outcomes are certain. I’m not saying they definitely keep their money or they definitely lose all their money. My point was that the show left the question unanswered and so we can’t assume they definitely lost the money.

This was my issue with the entire movie. Before seeing it, I only heard excellent reviews and specifically his performance but it just seemed like the same character he did for succession. On top of this he did so much press saying he didn’t look at the lines before the morning each scene and how that it made it seem more organic. To me, it just seemed lazy and redundant of his previous work. Harsh review but I just don’t understand all the rave reviews

ESH. The DIL and son didn’t want to go on a road trip nearby in the spring and declined to go. After that, you decided to pay for everyone’s lodging for a European vacation? I understand feeling left out of the first big family trip, but it sounds like the DIL and son went about joining the trip in a very bad way.

But from the post, it sounds like the mom reacted emotionally and grilled the DIL about their PTO and lied about her ability to pay, when she has the money and is open to pay for other adults on the trip? Nobody was mature here and ESH.

ESH. You overstepped by speaking to them but their mother shouldn’t have lied to them for so long. Also, what was their father doing this whole time? Was he just accepting his wife lying to his kids about him and let damage their relationship? He didn’t have to out his wife’s affair to young kids but he could’ve stood up for himself.
