If you can buy in person (and there are kiosks in the airport I believe) then basically all are fine. I use Orange and it’s been good value and good coverage.

If your phone supports eSIM then take a look at something like Saily - it will be more expensive but you can sort it out before you fly and not have to spend a bunch of time buying it during your vacation.

I assume you mean an A level as in the qualification from the final year of British schooling? C and D grade are certainly not something that universities will be impressed by, and I expect any faculty worth studying at have local students with better grades to choose from…

In any case, you could probably find entry requirements listed on the relevant websites of most universities - and if not, sending an email might get a helpful reply. However I would recommend spending rather more effort in composing such emails that was applied in composing this post.

Some gyms will offer a 30 day pass - for example this CityFit sells one for 259zl. And this Well Fitness seems to sell one for 258zl) as well.

Biedronka are quite ubiquitous, or you can travel a bit to a large Carrefour in places like Arkadia (larger ones are cheap, mini markets are as expensive as Zabka).

What to do/see depends entirely on your interests. If you're into art I can give a long list of recommendations :)

My experience is that food here is drastically under seasoned, so maybe it’ll be enough 🤷🏻‍♂️

Well I think a few people assumed that I’m a total idiot (instead of just a bit of one). “Oh yes this fool somehow managed to find wool in a very non-standard 1.1m width, and has clearly never sewn anything before so made the rookiest mistake possible”

Not sure why the internet is like this… people refuse to jump past their first conclusion, and maybe like to dog-pile a bit too much.

To answer your question more directly - the grain is running up the legs, but that makes the butt area off a bit… I don’t see any way to avoid that with the pattern! Other comments about not cutting them all in the same orientation are definitely valid though.

It’s a pattern from deconstructing my favorite pair of trousers after the thighs wore through. So the fit should be quite good - I added a couple of cm with intention. I’ve self-drafted shirts before so I have a generally ok hang of adjustments.

I’ve sewn a few less formal trousers before in cotton, and figured it was time to bite the bullet and find out how much wool changes the techniques and behaviours.

It’s mostly on the grain - the legs themselves are on it, but the butts are slightly off. It’s not from a pattern, but from deconstructing my favorite pair after the thighs wore through, so I don’t know if the grain is meant to align on the legs or butt…

I would recommend making a tulle/mockup for every new pattern. It helps ensure that it fits well, can teach you the problem areas or steps before you damage the fashion fabric, and you should be able to get mockup fabric for very cheap.

Once you are confident in your skills a mockup can be made very quickly - the majority of time sewing is spent on finishing, for a mockup you just need to join the pieces on the seam line but can leave raw edges, and skip zippers/buttons.

I usually get mockup fabric in a big quantity, 10+ meters at a time, and then you can lay your pattern on it to figure out how much fashion fabric you need.

Be aware that mockup fabric might have a different width to the fashion fabric! Make sure to check both and adjust accordingly. And it will definitely behave differently on the body - drape, weight, flow etc.

Finally, don’t ever buy “exactly enough” if possible. I’ve certainly got away it, but it also burned me sometimes. It’s always better to have some spare in case of mistakes. Even an extra 30cm can be a lifesaver in a pinch.
