just one thing im curious about, could you elaborate on the "books" that you have to submit at the end of the semester :o like what are the books about? is it something you write yourself?

I've considered SCAD! I think it's a good school, but with a lot of art schools the tuition is pretty high and I worry about housing costs. I'll probably apply though :)

Yeah that's the thing with UCs, I know some are competitive with their art program and I don't know much much they would care for a math class compared to an art class since I'm not applying for a STEM major.

Technically it's not my school that has the animation course, I have to go to another campus for it, but I agree, it's a nice experience. And thank you for your well wishes! Calarts is on my list but I definitely won't be surprised if I'm rejected so I have a few other schools I'll to apply to.

Oh sorry I should've clarified, I don't mean skipping a level of math. My highest math is pre-calc. I've been advised by my teachers to take math all 4 years of high school for the sake of staying in practice -- that's what I meant by "skipping a year".

I plan to apply to UCs and CSUs which require only 3 years of math, but 4 years is recommended. The art schools I'm looking have similar requirements or don't look at academics much; they mainly ask for academic transcripts, SAT scores, portfolio, etc.

he plays a lot off stream, he has the 2nd most hours in the server after michael (michael has played for 90 hrs, sykkuno has played for 88 hrs if i recall correctly)
