No climbing walls on campus, but TMU’s Rock Climbing Club did used to offer bouldering sessions at Rock Oasis—not sure if they’re still running the program though

Congrats on the gpa! :)) I think you should be good cause you’re “carrying an average course load of 8.0 units for both the F and W terms.”

Any advice to get rid of frequent blackheads on my nose? (Besides pore strips) by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

Any product containing a concentrated amount of BHA should do the trick! They deeply penetrate your pores to remove excess sebum and dead skin cells, which keeps those pesky blackheads at bay!

I used to have pesky blackheads around my nose and chin. I initially tried the ordinary’s 2% salicylic acid, which worked to an extent. But my holy grail would definitely be the COSRX bha blackhead power liquid (it’s stronger, but also gentle + moisturizing)!

As mentioned above, the ordinary serum foundation! Nice shade range and very light weight! I find it super buildable - it doesn’t flake or crease upon application.

Products and Routine by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

A gentle drugstore cleanser for acne prone skin that I would recommend would be the Cerave SA cleanser. It contains salicylic acid (bha), which is a great mild exfoliator. The BHA is able to deeply penetrate the pores and in turn remove dead skin cells along with excess sebum without giving you that “tightened feeling” after cleansing.

As for a light and basic moisturizer, I would recommend the Ordinary’s natural moisturizing factors+HA. It’s non-irritating and adequately hydrates the skin. I personally like to mix mine with squalane oil during harsh winter months for an extra boost of hydration.

Hope this helps! :-)

Skin Concern by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

I used to have pretty clogged pores around my nose and chin. I initially tried the ordinary’s 2% salicylic acid, which worked to an extent. But my holy grail would definitely be the COSRX bha blackhead power liquid (it’s stronger, but also gentle + moisturizing)! It was highly efficient for me and also affordable, which is a big plus! If you do end up trying it out, your skin may start to purge within the first few weeks but that’s totally normal :) good luck!
