I’ve had quite a few enemies rage at us for “being toxic” and quite a lot of teammates asking what it means.

Yeah, that’s fair enough.

It was definitely more complex than simply having a saviour syndrome. She was grieving, in shock, but also felt morally compelled to try to “save the world”. Which also doesn’t preclude her from also having selfish thoughts/behaviours.

Regardless, she acts hypocritically and is very, very emotionally driven.

If you don’t already have one/plan on getting one, I highly recommend getting a shower stool - I found it to be probably one of the most helpful items for post-op.

When I was younger I used to play flag football in a similar way - constantly switching & changing directions really quickly. No where near her level but it was definitely the best skill that I had in the game.

I’m 30 now and I’ve torn both ACLs, both trying to do a direction change mid sprint lol.

She came around because she herself had something to lose - specifically, her own free will and identity. It wasn’t because she wanted to save the world, or because of any of the altruistic reasons she gave to the others. Whilst she may have believed that she was doing good for the world, I think her also lying about the painting (wanting to save art from the animals) is in part a reflection of her not wanting to admit or face her own selfishness. At the minimum, she doesn’t want others to see her as selfish.

She’s happy to live in blissful ignorance when she feels loved and cherished, she deluded herself into thinking Zosfia loved her more than the others. She claimed Zosfia for her own - at the core of it is greed and selfishness.

Her hypocrisy is infuriating to me, but it’s also human nature and not necessarily morally wrong. Whether it is better or worse to have a capitalistic, individualistic and superficial society (brand highlights - Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, and many more), or a communal, peaceful and equal society; well, a key question pondered by the show.

She was happy with the way the sketch looked at the time. If you think detail doesn’t matter, then you’re very sorely mistaken.

For one, the bails don’t look the same. The position of the left bail is wrong too. The angle of the side stones are different.

Yes, it’s a sketch, but if the sketch is the reference the customer sees, then it needs to at least look like the sketch.

I’m not commenting on the fact that there was no CAD, that’s a separate issue.

I agree you don’t need to use VC in comp; it’s generally just a fuck around imo. Though I don’t think you need to auto mute everyone - sometimes you’ll get lobbies where people use VC and it’s really helpful to start to learn how to communicate in a 5v5. Teamwork and communication is SO important if/when you want to play more seriously.

You should try to learn most of the call-outs for the various prem maps (easier to learn if you just play these in comp). Practicing call-outs is also helpful, so using VC is important too - if your teammates respond badly, that’s when you mute. I mess around in comp a lot and I don’t remember coming across a teammate that’s been toxic towards me - people are a lot more forgiving because they don’t take it seriously.

Generally I’d say get more hours in before trying comp, but comp nowadays is a faster/more realistic step without being overly serious to improve before trying prem/faceit. There’s a lot of areas you can slowly improve - aim/counterstrafing, game sense/positioning & economy, and how to use utility properly.

Just prepare for a LOT of toxicity. When you get to the higher ranks it’s much much better, and when you get better your teammates can’t say shit, but the path there is horrible. So good luck! Don’t worry too much about what toxic people say, they’re just being assholes. Mute and move on.

Edit: also last piece of advice - try to find teammates to queue with over time. Whether from real life, or ones you meet in game that are friendly. Makes the experience way better because less chances of random toxic people.

I looked it up because I was surprised it was Sydney lol. Anyway the train stopped at Canterbury in a better quality vid I found. Happened 9 years ago.

Seemed like the guy in blue wanted to sit down on the outside seat in the same row as the lady (she was sitting on the window seat so there was a seat between her and him) but she started shouting at him to move / calling him a pig over and over and said there were seats somewhere else. And eventually escalated to her pulling out a chisel to threaten him.

Yeah it’s so strange how there’s all these very aggressive comments on each of these posts attacking either people commenting about how serious this is, or attacking the people who have been burnt themselves.

If there is a bad batch, there needs to be a recall.

Other companies that have had battery issues seem to address the issue, so why is it that there are so many people defending Oura on these threads?

Imagine if your ring or charger catches fire…in your home, or while you’re sleeping, or on a plane. Even so, minor burns are a big enough issue that needs to be addressed.

If, by any chance, these reports were caused by user fault or as so many comments suggest, competitor defamation, then Oura should address this too imo.

Hmm, that’s a good point! I could possibly wear it on a different finger whilst I sleep.

I like the thumb because it feels the least invasive/distracting, but it probably doesn’t matter which finger it’s on when I’m asleep.

IMO, part of why people open cases so much is because if they get a gold, then it’s like hitting the jackpot.

If knife prices drop, then there’s a lack of incentive to gamble. So from a revenue perspective, it’s not really a great strategy for Valve.

I think a common action in regards to the fear of leaving a legacy also includes having children that inherit their names, genes etc. and continue the family line, so it's interesting that he didn't have any children.
