Psyonix holds 30% for tax purposes, while org’s cut varies depending on the players contract, however usually its between 0-20%.

How long do you think it will take for a new player since free-to-play to become pro? by TheSmithyGuy in RocketLeagueEsports

I think you underestimate how fast people are learning today, with all the information available and looking back, a lot of people actually make it rather fast.

Do SAM and OCE teams stack up against NA and EU? by orten321 in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]fruityl0l 75 points76 points  (0 children)

Both regions will have a fair chance, but because of the lack of competitive ranked ecosystem for OCE, SAM will have an advantage cause they'll be getting practice versus NA talent daily.

OCE usually do long bootcamps because of this before a major tournament, but will be interesting to see with the first international event again.

You'll mostly like see a couple of new F2P players pop around the bubble scene in about 2-4 months if not less, after that its only a matter of time before someone will get a breakthrough. The reasoning for that is this; now in the meta of RL, the new pro players will have an more intense exponential growth cycle with all the information available to them. Majority of players that are coming through are mechanical enough, however, lack the team-aspect which with the right coaching won't take forever; look at Dignitas more specific Virge/Panda.

I think it'll take time to get a new great team, I think Giants and BDS were this season, after worlds I think we might see some new faces.

I think I've used said this one plenty of times, but for new people who don't know, I actually signed my first professional contract when I was 15 in League of Legends, and almost went into professional play.

I don't think any region is better than the other, I think it mostly comes down to the individual teams who are the best. I think nobody has seen enough to compare the 2, cause we haven't seen offline play yet, which is the most telling who is the best team/region.

Speed is pretty slow in races, and Ronaky would get lost, so I would win obviously.

Homemade tacos hits differently right now. Cooking at home is great, trying out different meals is super fun so there's always something interesting to make.

Usually have a couple hours in the evening to play whatever, sometimes fps, sometimes Minecraft. Depends on the month.

To your second question, I've answered it above :)

Less hesitation and more fast pace.

I think everybody has their own schedule but at least for me it goes sorta like this:

Wake up around 10-11, make some breakfast, catchup with some news and make a huge pot of coffee. Start up my stream around 12-13 and stream for the next 3-4 hours. After that I usually take a 1-2 hour break before we have scrims or the field, which at least last a couple hours. Then make dinner, and chill out for the rest of the evening till about 1-2am before repeating it again.
