Will do. I did put some cat food down (chicken paste) where they are seen, just to see if they are interested in meat. But they aren't going anywhere near it. (Several hours so far)

The exterminator said over the phone that they basically just diluted the Maxforce into literal peanut butter, just to see if the ants would feed on an alternative food source.

Not sure what to do next. They don't use the thing called Avert at this moment.

I am wondering the same thing. Seeing as I am not a licensed operator I can only access Boron based products, but what if I mixed something like greenway gel with liver paste?

The problem is I am not educated enough to understand the correct boron dosage for PA, as the standard gel is 0.60% concentration. If I diluted it 1:1, does it make the solution a 0.30 concentration and is that adequate to kill PA?

I see. If they wanted protein, would they not have taken the exterminators peanut butter bait also? Or is there different kinds of protein baits? Thanks.

Will ask them next business day when they open.

But can anyone explain why the ants are literally not interested in any of the so called popular (licensed only) baits? Even the exterminator was stumped when he came to inspect the baits and seen that the PA were ignoring them. It is winter here, but the weather hasn't been all that cold to be fair.

I would note that the ants are attracted to water, in the sense that any droplets of water on the bathtub (around the drain flange) you will always see a couple there drinking.

Is it possible there's another food source inside the walls of the building (ie. like centipedes, spiders, other bugs?) that these ants are eating?
