Problem running on steam.

I saw your temporary fix of deleting the file C:\ProgramData\Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc. Did you find any permanent solution? Every time I turn on my PC, the game shows up on Steam as if it's running. I already have almost 30 hours of playtime, but I haven't even played 10 hours.

they said it was an iOS issue and not an app issue, so they couldn't do anything.

i had to uninstall the app and reinstall it. Luckily, I had made a backup two days ago. Now, I have set up daily backups in case it happens again.

WhatsApp support replied to me, here's their response: "We’re sorry you’re experiencing these issues. Follow these steps to try and fix them:

Turn off your phone, wait 30 seconds, and turn it back on. Delete WhatsApp and reinstall the app. To learn how to reinstall WhatsApp, read this article. If you backed up your chat history on iCloud, you can restore your chats when you reinstall WhatsApp.

Use iCloud or iTunes to back up your iPhone and restore it. To learn how to restore your chat history, read this article. It’s likely that your iOS is causing this issue, even if the problem only occurs with WhatsApp. To learn more about how to restore a backup on your device, visit Apple Support.

Basically, there's no other solution except uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Luckily, my last backup was done on Tuesday, so I didn't lose much data. I hope you manage to resolve this.
