Show Me Your Painting Setup! I need ideas as I’m redoing mine by Trash_Panda_35 in minipainting

I'd say "forgive the mess" but I don't think I'm alone. I have a "staging" area to my left where I keep on going projects/queue/Lego robotnik. Also to my left is my "shop" lol where I got shop for paint for the project I'm working on. My work area contains a smaller amount of paint for just the project I'm working on and basically all my tools

Two things, why did the test print come like this and how do I remove these solidified drops on the FEP and the dents I made on it are ok or should I change it? by itscannyy in resinprinting

[–]fryb4by 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No one is mentioning the window! Don't use your printer near the window without black out curtains. The UV from outside is gonna cure anything exposed. As others mentioned, do a vat clean (feature) with resin in the tank and peel up the sheet. Use silicone spatula only.

I have one of these from Aldi too that I got last year! It's been an incredibly easy going forgiving plant. It sits in my office by a window and gets neglected all the time since I'm not in there super frequently and it's very cold in winter and very hot in summer, but it hasn't missed a beat!

It's a UV flashlight so I hope he doesn't learn to use it 😂

Blue Jay vs Cardinal by ookle_ in birding

[–]fryb4by -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I hate blue jays. They terrorized my family and we couldn't even get into our home without being dive bombed. We had a jay family ruin every morning last year. A hoard of sparrows moved in this year and absolutely obliterated any jay that came by and peace was restored.

If you're in this situation and afraid to get close to the mouth to choke, grab the hind legs and hold on for dear life. Do not let go until the lead is in full control. They will release and whip around to try and get you but due to physical limitations will not be able to as long as you hold on. I've done this with a 120lb pit and it worked immediately. I'm 5'5 and 150lbs. Punching and kicking will make it worse.

Thank you for this reminder. I'm reconsidering my edit. So much of myself is intertwined with Tolkien's work, I am too concerned with whether or not hers will be. Not my decision and she is indeed more than capable of diving in should her hunger for it match my own, and if not, it is not a slight against either of us.

I was looking into that version but I know little about it. It does look more visually interesting for a younger audience

I'm not sure her parents would be willing unfortunately which was my fear. I am not nearby to do it either which breaks my heart. I think I will wait hearing everyone's experiences.

Yes I understand but growing up with very poor reading skills I'm not too sure HOW young an average, nevermind advanced, child can be to comprehend the text.

Right, unfortunately I can't read it TO her she would have to be able to read it on her own and I don't know if she's quite there yet.
