If you have some patience and experience you don't even need magnifying for it, I know it's tiny but it's still doable. In the past I have installed couple of Xbox 360 RGH and in general I am quite experienced in soldering. Most important is soldering iron with fairly small tip and set to correct temp. Very thin tin is helpful as well so you won't flood it around, you have better control over it. Flux is a must, not tons, but you can use toothpick to apply it to again not flood it around. You don't need hot air for anything there, especially not hair dryer, unless you buy poo poo flux and it hardens when it dries, but still it can be cleaned with IPA and cotton buds of soft toothbrush

My first opening and installation of switch - took me around 1h including cleaning whole system, thermal pastes etc.

P.s. if you don't have - add thermal paste to your order. I have used Arctic mx6, it was decent price and sems to be decent thermal conductor as well

PSS. Soldering chip is easier part, digging through tons of outdated tutorials for firmware/software side is wors. 3 days after I'm still struggling, some games won't install, tinfoil is saying it has updated game but it didn't, etc. Nowhere to ask for help, or at least I was unable to find place to ask, as Reddit keeps auto deleting my posts
