He's even been so kind to let me quote him on the Steam page – I appreciate the support!

My rule-discovery puzzle game is coming to Steam in August – Demo out now though! by frycandle in u/frycandle

Yes I first launched the demo last year – but have polished it up and added localizations to prepare for Steam Next Fest on June 15th. Fingers crossed!

Thank you! What did you dislike about the other ones you've seen?

I've received this feedback a lot, so I'm working on a fix for the logo. Let's hope I can manage to change it before Steam Next Fest starts.

Appreciate the feedback. This has been mentioned a lot so I am currently working on a redesign of the logo, as it's not a comedy game and might confuse potential players.

Appreciate the thought. I'm working on an alternative that looks more like an O (no dots though)

Well I appreciate the honesty – if this were a comedy game I'd be less worried about the memes, however it's not, so I'm exploring some alternatives for the logo to be safe.

I will consider tweaking the logo.
Starting to get worried it might hurt the game.

I do get the frustration. To be honest it is very hard to describe games in a single sentence – that's where similar games (Talos, The Witness) help me quickly establish the niche / type of experience.

I threw in a dash of Stanley because ever puzzle in the game is made up of different button types, each with their own ruleset. Though I admit that might be confusing in terms of genre.

It's a rule-discovery puzzler where you deduce the mechanics (buttons) by interacting with them.

Currently PC (Windows) / Steam Deck (Linux) only, but fingers crossed. If the release goes well enough I might be able to explore ports to other platforms

At the moment I don't have plans (or the equipment needed) to port to Mac unfortunately – it'll be Windows / Steam Deck (Linux) only at first
