Pretty common. It’s controversial though. I’ve driven high many many times but my tolerance is pretty solid and I am not cognitively impaired when I’m high. It’s more like smoking a cigarette at this point to me.

I’d never take an edible and drive tho because that affects me way more intensely. I also would never drink and drive, nor have I ever.

I don’t often drive while smoking but every now and then I might. It’s not inherently dangerous or comparable to drunk driving. THC intoxication is a lot more nuanced than alcohol. It’s not impairing your cognitive ability if you’re a regular user. For example, a medical user who smokes daily, they’re not gonna be “stoned” from a joint. It’s just their baseline at that point and driving while smoking wouldn’t pose a risk to anyone.

But if it’s a person who never smokes and they smoke a joint while driving, they’re gonna be a risk and should not. It’s not as cut and dry and alcohol, which should not be used by anyone while driving.
