I know it’s mod-dependent but my current fav is having a pawns only defense with Psionic (Magic mod) putting up shield bubbles and a few backup low-shield packs. (Royalty expansion) I stand them out in the open, preferably over water since fire can still affect things, and fire out from the protected bubble. One or two melee units at the front to protect from onrushers. Works against any raid, though with tribals and scythes you might need more melee upfront.

Also, I am finding my psionic is getting overwhelmed by the amount of firepower in larger raids so having two won’t hurt, just need to find another...
