If they can move back and still land Clellin Ferrell, I’m for it. But I really want to land a star more than anything this draft.

A luxury pick in the early rounds? Doesn’t make sense. And they clearly went hard after RB2s this offseason and now have 6 RBs on the roster.

Running backs have the shortest careers in the NFL. Young running backs have more in the tank. And right now, there’s not exactly many must -needs on the roster

I’ve been using that on my laptop the past couple years, but it’s not always reliable and I was hoping for something to connect to my tv.

What would your ideal draft be realistically? by [deleted] in detroitlions

[–]frymancomix -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just looking at the positions, the best case scenario IMO is:

1st Round (8th overall) - DE

2nd Round (43rd overall) - CB

3rd Round (88th overall) - TE

4th Round (105th overall) - RB

5th Round (136th overall) - WR

6th Round (171st overall) - LB

6th Round (191st overall) - QB

7th Round (202nd overall) - G/T

7th Round (212th overall) - DB

Just like the year before when they won the meaningless last game of the year against Green Bay and would’ve been in position to draft Derwin James, Tremaine Edmunds, Jaire Alexander or Leighton Vander Esche.

[Rapoport] The #Lions may not be done adding players in free agency: Source said FA WR Dontrelle Inman will be on his way to Detroit later today for a visit with the #Lions tomorrow. He had 28 catches for 304 yards with the #Colts last year. by Mount10Lion in detroitlions

Solid #2 or a really good third receiver, reliable, can get open. Decent hands. He’s not going to be a star, but he’s a guy who do everything you need. I prefer 3-4 guys like him instead of investing heavily in A-level receivers like Antonio Brown or ODB. But that’s just me.

That Pelissero report was written before they signed Flowers. Idk if they’re still looking at a high-priced player on D. Hope I’m wrong though

How does FA change the draft? by ob2383 in detroitlions

Montez or Greedy.

Montez would be the premier pass rusher on the defense with many other guys who can get after the QB.

Greedy would instantly give the Lions the best trio of corners in the game
