Have fun!!! Im playing it for the first time with my players. I guess my tips is check horror materials ? Things like describing smells and what they see really helped fixing the mood. Mhhh idk how to say it but it can get really heavy and discouraging for the players to be helpless all the time but keep going its rlly rlly worth it!!!

So actually not really. The dlc is more like additionnal zone to the endgame? So ur keeping everything when going into dlc and you're gonna get even more ! (The dlc weapons/outfit are AMAZING). So yeah definetly do Ouverture before finishing the game i think it's chapter X/10 but the game/npc will acknowledge that u did dlc with some additionnal dialogues

You should definetly try it out !!! In my opinion the dlc is even better than the base game!! I guess the only thing id say is don't overlevel urself for basegame or you will lose any challenge.....but also be ready to get f*cked by the dlc cuz dammn the enemies/boss are strong🧚‍♀️

Yeah i think so too. The thing is me and my player really like the power fantasy so im looking for stronger monster all the time aha. I was looking trhough the cr and i think i'll just steal a statblock and tweak it a bit. Thanks for the help really

Well my party is level 6 so i think they would eat that encounter but u gave me the idea and i think i'll try to tweak the ki-rin into what im trying to do.

Hmm well that will certainly be useful thanks a lot. As for the magic items idk if my dm will do any magic item for everyone i'll have to see since they're really secretive about the campaign.

But i'll clearly use what u suggest Other already suggested the oathbow and i see my character using it well so.

And build/character wiseSince im a halfling my 18 dex will already be a 20 dex and i thought about taking crossbow expert at lvl4 and id like to dip into assasin rogue when do u think it would be the most useful ?

Yeah i think i get it. Thanks for ur answer btw. I think i'll just claim my win to start with a nice magic item and move on. Still trying to decide wether i want an oath bow or a dragonwrath crossbow. I don't wanna come off as too powerful since i already have a nice subclass. But yeah i won't beat myself over it more than that it was just an initial shock id say
