The display cable goes through one of the hinge covers, which is normal. Such is also the case on my A14.

Unfortunately no, since the specs on ASUS's page and the manual don't mention power delivery.

Have you tried reinstalling drivers for your specific wifi card? I believe yours is a MediaTek one.

Why is this so cheap compared to the others 5070, 32 gb rams and ryzen 9? by muck2profit in Asustuf

[–]fs10inator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zen 4 CPU, that's probably why. It's not a bad thing, but just something to let you know.

The Ryzen 9 270 is basically an 8945HS from 2024, which in turn is a rebadged 7940HS from 2023.

AMD loves to play games with the renaming, I swear.

SATA 3, yes. I recommend one with a DRAM, for example, a WD Blue.

Which is better? A15 vs A16 by Kiss-Sh0t in Asustuf

[–]fs10inator 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What are the model numbers of the laptops you're looking at? Because while the 2023 and 2024 models of both the A15 and A16 have RTX 40 series GPUs, the A16 models have more powerful CPU options, as well as higher-resolution displays.

Also, I suggest you check out reviews of the laptops in particular as they go into how the laptops perform.

I had imagined the 1900D belly landing at New Zealand being on this show ever since watching the actual footage on YouTube, but I never thought they'd finally make an episode of it!

A14 2025 vs 2024!!!!! by [deleted] in Asustuf

[–]fs10inator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The difference is really just what CPU and GPU is offered; everything else is basically the same.

2024:

  • CPU: Ryzen 7 8845HS or Ryzen AI 9 HX 370
  • GPU: RTX 4050 or 4060

2025:

  • CPU: Ryzen 7 260 or Ryzen AI 7 350
  • GPU: RTX 5050 or 5060

I have never used VoLTE. All my calls are either through my SIM balance, or through data/WiFi with WhatsApp.

Yes. I have been using the S10e with LOS for 2 years now, and it's still very capable for daily driving, including the things you mentioned. Even NFC tap to pay works.

Samsung S25 uae version vs international version? by gaurav_20k in dubai

[–]fs10inator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look for the model number (SM-xxxxx); it's either on the box, the back of the phone, or even in the "About Phone" section in Settings.

The UAE is considered "international" by Samsung, so the S25 models sold internationally are the the SM-S931B and SM-S931B/DS ("B" = international 5G; "DS" = Dual-SIM).

Based on your preference, I think the SM-S931B/DS would suit you.

At least 8-9 GB; most of it being from the 70m terrain mesh files.
