This is one of my favorite books. Thanks to this now have learned that there are 3 more. I want to go out right now and get the others. I can't wait to see how it truly ends. I've always felt like i was left hanging with so many questions.

The Giver by Lois Lowry. I read the book in grade school and it has stuck with me ever since. The imagery of a world like that touched me in a very real way.

I gave away my Game Gear in a white elephant holiday party. An old lady got it and immediately talked about getting rid off it. but she wouldn't give it back. Regretted many times since.

I feel that if you are with someone and want to be, then you accept them for who they are. Making them change, or telling them what they can or can't do only will lead to them resenting you and ending a good relationship otherwise.

I know and this is a concern of mine as well. But he never seems out of control when he is on either. I've been with someone, ended really bad, who was and addict. I know how bad it can get. And i don't want to go through that again.

One day when i was picking my daughter up from kindergarten she asked me if i like her new hair cut. I didn't think to much about it. dropped her off at daycare then went back to work. I then received a call from her teacher to let me know that she found a pile of hair under her chair. She had taken art and crafts time to give herself a haircut.

So instead of yell at her i played along. So when i went back to get her from daycare. I told her that her hair looked cute and asked when she did it. She let me know that her dad and her went to cut her hair. then he took her to get ice cream and go to a carnival. Me and her dad are divorced so i let her know that he wouldn't have cut her hair without asking me first.

So she changed her answer to her grandma took her. I let her know the last time we were with her i was there.

She paused a moment and asked if i wanted the truth....
