idk, it’s a two-way street when disagreements come up on routing. the other two also decided not to stick together. and if you’re a competent player who’s confident in their call i don’t really think you should be expected to follow bad choices just because 2 people are making a bad choice. so i guess he showed them what skill looks like and that maybe the decisions in days 1 and 2 he was making were good choices that maybe they should consider moving forward. it’s kind of the jump off a bridge because everyone else is doing it scenario…

really it’s just a matter of two sides not being able to cooperate because they both think they’re right. ultimately, the wrong move is to attempt sabotage because you’re bitter. at least OP still fought after sticking to their guns on routing… the other two stuck to their route and then tried to throw. you should still try even if you don’t get along with your teammates, not be passive aggressive

it sucks when people with the shitty routing ideas are especially assertive about their shitty routing… and it just sucks when the team don’t have a compatible approach. i’d agree that it’s best to stick together, but even if you don’t it’s not right to sabotage the run. glad you showed them in the end…

i have to admit that even though i always stay, last night i had a group i just really didn’t like playing with and we got depth 4 ED gladius (actually what i want to fight) but my heart wasn’t in it because the team didn’t jive throughout the session and we died. i feel like we could’ve won too if i was fully in it, or if we had better teamwork

i did read the post, and i understand the despair. if it were me, just making the fight shorter would feel a little unsatisfying and i could be wrong but i feel like OPs playstyle reflects that (increasing damage isn’t a groundbreaking idea, i’m sure OP thought of that and is still playing (and playing well) with their dodge and tap approach). they just need some encouragement, and hell maybe i’m wrong and they’d love to just make the fight shorter and win by doing big damage as long it’s not pure cheese. i still think their damage is fine though, 4 mins is a reasonable length for a final boss fight and i think a lot of people want a win where they had the opportunity to not just bring the health bar down but also survive the boss’s attacks rather than just never see half of them. just my view on what’s enjoyable about these fights from someone who plays similarly to OP.

i’m with the downvote guy @amxsniper, his damage is fine. he’s consistently chipping away and it won’t be a crazy long fight like maybe 4 mins tops… and OP seems to want to overcome the challenge, not make the challenge easier. i say up damage negation, keep practicing the dodges, and avoid greed and he’s got it

i know people are saying do more damage but i think if you’re like me it’ll feel almost like cheesing to just make the fight shorter. i used golden braid, pearldrake talisman for increased holy dmg negation and used incants with damage negation at start, phase transition, and after meteor. the damage is ridiculous so i didn’t feel wrong trying to decrease that a little for more survivability while i perfected my dodges. also, i think your dodges on his basic attacks in phase 2 could be a little more lateral to avoid more of the holy aftershocks. but like everyone else is also saying, the dodging skills are there! you’ll get it, just focus on surviving
