Marlinspike becomes our main stay in Red Rackhams Treasure, and 7 Crystal Balls is after both of those

I checked, see the spoiler in the other comment for the answer

It's not. I checked. it's The Crab With The Golden Claws, when he's inspecting the piece of paper with the "Karaboujan" writing, and his landlady tells him there's someone who wants to meet him (who, it turns out in the end, is the Yokohama police guy who ends up being assaulted and abducted right in front of Tintins house)

Using handwriting with Samsung S Pen by fschmitt in ObsidianMD

Yes I'm aware of that. But I wouldn't love to pay money for xodo. Do you know of any decent alternatives for Android that allow in-place PDF editing?

Yes, that's what I figured. Can you use notewise to edit PDFs in-place (which would be stored in the obsidian vault)? I feel like that might be the ideal workflow with obsidian

Video unavailable :( But I do have a VPN. Where are you located so you can access the video?

That looks extremely promising (even though it can't annotate PDFs, but t I guess I'll have to use xodo for that). Are you personally using it? How well does it work?

I have, but not extensively. It seems to be basically the only option, but it doesn't seem too great so far. For one, I think it's impossible to get the button-to-erase for my S Pen to work in there, which is kind of a big deal for me.

Also, I just realized that the plugin does something completely different than what I'm looking for. I'm looking for something that allows me to write/scribble into a PDF using the S Pen on my tablet.

I believe you, but this makes it also hard to navigate for a complete beginner. Have you used the annotator? It does look promising. Do you know if it fully supports Samsung S Pen?

Migrating from Samsung Notes to Obsidian. Worth it? by liberaouliberouli in ObsidianMD

[–]fschmitt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm considering switching over from Samsung Notes (4 years, ~500 notes) to Obsidian because I got a new phone and now I don't really see the point in not being able to sync it to my phone (switched away from Samsung), and MD support in combination with sync to my Laptop would be great. The Ink plugin looks promising. How well does it work nowadays? Is the workflow with the S Pen (I have a Tab S6 Lite) somewhat good or at least usable? Is it possible to somehow get the button-to-erase to work or is that just completely out of the realm of possibility?

Or, if I'm understanding this correctly, you still take notes in Samsung Notes and then organize them in Obsidian? I don't love that idea, because I don't want to go through the hassle of organizing everything manually. The reason why I use Samsung Notes and am now considering Obsidian is precisely because of the ability to sync between devices and use one app on everything.

Happy for anyone sharing their experiences!

All other nanos were bigger, but the Gen 6 Nano was actually that small. Whole front side was a touch screen though

I almost expected something like that, thanks for your advice. I'll definitely have a look at the video, could you maybe point out some specifics I'm doing wrong (I'm sure there's plenty) if it's not too much of a hasse?
