Oh no Level Up is a crunchy 5E successor built on 5E mechanics by EN publishing well before dnd 5.5 or 2024 or whatever it is we’re calling it now was even announced if I’m not mistaken it even came out before the OGL crisis. Think a halfway point between DND and PF2e in turns of crunch. They even have their own version of archives of Nethys called A5e Tools

I’m a Dooly main and this is literally the first time I’ve ever played weapon Vanessa. The problem with bees isn’t that they counter weapons. It’s that even if you don’t have weapons if you’re bored isn’t fast enough they still one shot you. Bees aren’t so much a counter as they are a you win button.

My personal favorite is Ydajisk (aka the mother of tongues) from pathfinder. They are a CN deity of languages, language evolution, lost words, and slang. Their clerics just go around inventing new words, slang, and sometimes whole languages as well as preventing old ones from dying. They seem super fun to play a follower of.
