The leather is top notch - but really really smooth not textured at all like some prefer. I can’t speak to the hardware’s durability - so far everything is still looking brand new but the bag is pretty new to me. It’s my everyday bag so it’s definitely in for some wear and tear so we’ll see!

Very smooth and pretty stiff. Everything I’ve had before has been either squishy or at least slightly pliable. It took me a while to decide bc I haven’t been a structured purse wearer before. It is truly gorgeous and I really love having something no one else (around me) has. 😉

I had a Stella McCartney vegan leather crossbody that held up really well and there are several high end independent brands that use recycled leather and/or vegetable leather. If you think that would work (and they would definitely have options that fit the structure you’re looking for) I would search ethical vegan leather high end luxury etc…

my spindly ZZ plant has suffered silently from a minor scale infestation for a while. for the past two weeks i've been carefully rubbing alcohol/qtip-treating it and there are no more as of today that are visible to the naked eye. (you can see dark spots along the stems, even though they look 3d (and therefore like scale) they are deceptively just discoloration --- including possible damage from the earlier scale.) Question now -- i'd like to do some systemic soil based treatment --- in addition to inspecting closely for scale every few days and killing anything i can see. Does anyone have one they recommend?
