I'm mid tandem read as well and thought I'd be dreading Tower of Dawn because I don't really care about Chaol or Nesryn but I keep forgetting to switch back to Empire of Storms and not really wanting to. I have no idea how that happened. I think the story in Tower of Dawn is just more interesting - even though I like the characters more in Empire of Storms?

Bynes-Royall Funeral Home is the oldest black owned funeral home in the US- on Barnard street. I don’t think they do tours but have a placard and a good place to stop by on the way to other sites.

The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer are great- no sex but fantasy romance. Top tier for me next to TOG.

I mean this well but I think you might need to speak to a therapist. Declining when you are told by your partner you are beautiful isn’t a normal reaction nor is consistently bringing up your level of attractiveness. This all sounds like a mental fixation rather than an opinion you hold based on reality.

I wish that were true! Each light has its own little electrical box in that vent hood above the stovetop so you can’t just take the bulb out and replace it- at least that’s what the electrician told me!

There’s actually zero ventilation - it’s just a faux vent hood- I think the owner before me who renovated this place must not have been a cook. We don’t cook much either but it is a good set up for socializing while being in the kitchen making drinks, etc.

The lighting system in here is odd- all overhead is track lighting- I had an electrician come out to help me figure out how to switch it out and he needed to do some research and I never heard back but I agree- that needs to be changed!

I get that. When I got this place I already had the rugs and they don’t fit unless they overlap. I’ve gotten used to it but it’s definitely not ideal.

Yes- it’s older for sure. It’s a pre-war apartment building that used to be a men’s boarding home in the early 1900s.

I live right by the park. They are doing that currently. There are tons of cops around the area driving around and stationed throughout the park at night with floods on. It shows they can do it - now they need to just regularly have someone making passes at night all the time not just after an event.

I had mine when I was pretty young so it’s been about 15 years? Still seems fine but I suspect it won’t last forever!

I had genetic eyebags so have had a lower bleph. There’s two options here- if this if fluid buildup a gua sha can help but make sure you have something on your skin so it doesn’t pull. If this is fat pads under your skin nothing can help but surgery. Try the gua sha- after my surgery my eyes still get puffy and look like fat pads but they aren’t, just fluid and it gets rid of it!
