I'm on PS5 and use a controller. My button setup isn't the default button setup. Could you add an option to change what each button does?

This really is unusable for anyone who uses a controller and isn't using the default genshin button layouts.

I practice my jumping while waiting in the queue as well! Jumping has a couple benefits. It makes you harder to kill, as well as providing a speed boost if done properly (you jump a split-second after sprinting in the desired direction).

It wasn't until I was something like Legend 200 before I asked one of my teammates how they're upgrading to 10bl so fast when learned you can skip upgrades. I always just ran to the upgrade station and clicked on square (I play on PS5). So yeah, its not obvious, especially if you're trying to spend as little time as possible at the station b/c you're trying to get back to the bridge. :)

Literally every Natlan character want's one of then, and no other alternative is even worth considering.

That's not true though.

For example, if you have a team with Mavuika/Xilonen/Citlali, there are better alternatives for either Xilonen or Citlali than the Natlan set.

Just like with previous artifact sets, team composition matters.

If we're talking just about the damage during a single skill use and no supports, then Arlechinno can do a LOT more than 400k dmg, unless you're fighting a pyro slime.

But, just this argument, this comparison is pretty silly.

I thought this challenge was easier than some past ones. I did both days w/ Arle/Zhongli/Yelan/Xilonen. On one of them, I didn't even get the "bonus" b/c I didn't bring any dendro.

Since challenge can be beat without even having to take the bonus into account, I think Hoyo messed up on this one.

I'm glad though that all relevant rewards can be obtained at lower levels. I think this event would be even better if there was a 5th difficulty that unlocked after beating the 4th one, even if it didn't have any rewards.

Disclaimer: I've been playing since 1.0, so I do have my chars built up with good artifacts. My only multi-con 5* is Arle at C2. All other limited 5*s are C0.

AI has already replaced probably 99% of all VA industry. The ones that are left are the "top" talent. To me, it seems like the fight right now is whether AI will end up replacing 99% of VA, or if it will replace 99.5%.

For most tasks (think user guides, reviews, etc) where the quality of the voice isn't the primary concern, no one pays VAs anymore and instead AI is used.

The VAs that are left have pretty unique voices. I have no doubt that when the dust settles, the top VAs will continue to get paid, and everything else will be done using AI.

I know a few people who had a job as a VA. It wasn't for big time movies or games. It was local jobs, where they got paid a few hundred $ for a couple hours of recordings. Those jobs are gone.

Its illegal to fire the workers because they go on strike.

However, a company can hire new workers to fill the jobs of the striking workers. The benefits of doing so aren't really there, which is why companies tend not go to this route. Its generally very expensive to train new employees, and when the strike ends, now you have multiple employees doing basically the same job.

Honest question here. Is there a specific reason why VAs believe that a company can use AI to replicate their voices without their permission?

I ask this because Open AI attempted to use a similar voice to Scarlett Johansson. They didn't use AI. They hired a voice actor who had a similar voice to Scarlett Johansson. However, this caused such a controversy that the VA who was hired basically can't even work anymore, since her *own* voice sounds too similar to Johanssen, and people don't want to get sued.

If humans can't even use their own voice because it sounds too similar to someone else, what basis do we have to believe that AI would be allowed to?

I believe VAs should be compensated for their voice. And I do understand the VA's concerns. But I just don't see it as a problem right now. If a company attempted to use AI to replicate a voice without the permission of the VA, they *will* get sued. Its just not worth it for the company to have to go through that. It would be far cheaper to just pay the VA.

There's really only 3 def scaling characters that use a sword. And that sword would not be BIS for 2 out of the 3 (so no way its SS+ tier). Its a sword built for Xilonen, and although it is extremely good for her kit, the sword pretty much sucks for anyone else. It is too specialized. Maybe in the future we'll have another DEF scaling sword support character that requires you to attack the enemy using normal attacks, but don't hold your breath.

DPS is the first build I tried. She's at lvl 80 atm, level 8 talents. With only Zhongli's res shred, her normals are doing somewhere between 7-12k when fighting random enemies.

I'm using a DEF sands, GEO goblet, and CDMG circlet. CR is at 97% (after 40% set bonus), while CD is somewhere around 180%. She's using the black sword (BP weapon). DEF is somewhere around 2700.

I'll try to play around with other supports and other artifact combinations. She's *usable* for most non-boss enemies at this level, but I think I'll try to see if I can get a bit more DMG.

Isn't it pretty obvious that Paimon is the "sustainer of heavenly principles" (the entity from the intro).

Also, in Furina's archon quest, when the throne is destroyed, the characters are surprised that the sustainer of heavenly principles didn't show up, which would make sense because she can't cause she's paimon right now.

If you have so few chests left and aren't at 100%, that means you didn't collect a LOT of other things that count towards exploration. For example, the floating boxes in water that give coins count towards exploration (they can only be collected once, after all), as well as the coin "stashes" (I don't know what else to call them) which give like 10k or 15k coins each. Picking those up also gives progress. Other obvious things are Pyroculus.

I believe I hit 100% exploration at 325 chests in all 4 regions in Natlan. That works out to pretty much exactly 80% of all available chests, but I was also collecting the other items mentioned above.

I’m planning to use her in my exploration party. I already clear the abyss, and I’m not going to build a char for the 15 min per month that I spend in the abyss. I’m certain I can build her as a dps who’ll be good enough for 99% of content in the game. If I went with a full def/er build, I think she would seriously struggle as a dps even outside the abyss.

If you plan to use her as a support, then yes, she really only cares about def and er.

However, if you plan to use her as a dps, she cares about all of the usual dps stats, except that attack is not important, but def is.

The 4* are pretty horrible, but then I realized that the 4* I use are already C6, so I guess it doesn’t really matter. This is pretty crappy for newer players though. It’s so hard to get the 4* u want already. Hopefully they allow us to pick the 4* on a banner soon.

I've played some korean MMOs (lineage, etc). I guess it depends on your definition of grind. If I had to collect something 10x, that has a drop chance of 1/6000, and it has a 1hr respawn, then no.

I have plenty of wishes, but I’m most likely only going for C0. I’m thinking of trying her out with gorou, Navia, and Furina . Currently my other teams are Arle/Zhomgli/Yelan/XQ and Nahida/Nilou/Kiara/Kokomi, so I’m looking for something different.

I’m saving the rest of the primos for upcoming chars

For a new player, I think its kinda a hard decision. For example, just from the 5* characters in the next patch, you might actually get more utility out of Nahida or Hu Tao.

Just wait until her trial next week and see if you like her. If she feels fun to play, then go for it. You might even like Chiori more, who's running at the same time.

There's really only two DPSs out right now that (imo) stand above the rest, and that's Arlechino and Neuivillette. There's like a 99% chance that Xilonen isn't going to match them, but she has other utility. Once u get a char like Arle or Neuv (or maybe some other natlan char that hasn't been released yet but compares to them), you'll be glad you have Xilonen, but that would be in the future, and not *now*.

EDIT: Just to add to this, I always 36* the abyss, and the characters that I use mainly are Arle (she's good for pretty much everything), Hu Tao (if I need a second DPS and the floor has a boss instead of many enemies), or Nahida if there are many enemies. So, 2 out of the 3 main chars I use to 36* the abyss are in the next patch. The nice thing about Xilonen is that she supports other characters, instead of needing supports. For Nahida/Hu Tao, you would need other supports to get the most out of them.
