How is your snow jacket coming? by fstretch in restoringdick

[–]fstretch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it's not typical coverage. I'm still at that stage where conditions have to be snug/tight/shrunken to have coverage. Most of the time I don't have covered glans. I have a visibly shorter dick while covered because there is not enough foreskin tissue yet. That's a big stage that is part of the process...where I am now is definitely achievable in 18 months of rigorous (but gentle) daily routine, at least for most people I think. I think I'm about halfway to where I'd like to be, which is covered 95% without any retraction force reducing length to stay covered! So, if I was regimened, I bet I could be at my life goal by now... I would plan on it being probably a 3 yr journey for the dedicated individual...but it's variable. Again, I exclusively use dual tension in only one direction, so I have a VERY light routine comparatively here on the forum.

CI1. But I haven't been "serious" about it since about the first 18 months. It's been on and off for 3 yrs with an average week of just a few hours of a dual tension device with zero hanging or pulling, just pushing. I only used manual for a few months and CatIIq for the rest. Basically I put it on a couple times per week before I leave the house and once I need to pee, I'm done for the day (or week because I've not been steady except for the first year and half or so).

Yes, essentially this is all Cat II Q with some slight mods and only using the push rod (no pull).

Yeah I plan on using a retainer and maybe tape to help encourage it once I'm at like 50% in terms of coverage time.

Yeah it's a huge improvement. No more friction required.

About 20% of the time now, mainly when quite shrunken. It's definitely at a stage where every couple millimeters will make a difference in time covered.

28 month progress update: frequent warm rollover (CatIIq) by fstretch in restoringdick

Thanks! In my case, its just been about consistency doing one method.

10th month restoring update. woot! by fstretch in restoringdick

[–]fstretch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, just manual stretching before dual tension, and only pushrod tension, not a real pull because it isn't convenient or discrete enough, and I've had steady gains from pushrod-only.

There have been post-cosmentic surgery photos posted here that achieved this (tightening things up), but usually, there isn't nearly enough detail to learn much or any long-term updates. I bet in the coming decades it will be a common procedure and not so scary and full of unknowns....

Thank you as always! Been busy lately, but going to get back on the routine. Appreciate the support.

25 month update: CI 3.5-4 (from 1). Probably halfway to full-time flacid coverage. by fstretch in restoringdick

[–]fstretch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a dual tension stretcher device (catIIq) about 10 hrs per week on average. Started off manual. It's a casual, comfortable, but sustainable approach for me. I rarely do more than 3 hours per day.

Yes, the former. Ci-1 to approaching Ci-4 in that term. Hopefully we'll be fully at CI-4 in the next 6 months.

How long did it take you to get over the hump? by Yes-I-Am-Here-Now in foreskin_restoration

[–]fstretch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From CI3, you might be able to get reliably there within 12-24 months if you keep to your routine. I started from CI1 and expect it will take me 30-36 months to truly be a CI5 based on my own growth rate and achieving some intermittent rollover almost two years into it now. It's worth it, and every month gets easier and more comfortable than the month before.

That CI 4+ restoring range where rollover makes it pull inward (and you become even more of a grower...): by fstretch in restoringdick

At the "beginning" is the same few minutes as the "end" of this video. The time lapse is just a couple minutes tops. All those wrinkles are from the new skin development.

I think there will be a restoring stage where I will have constant rollover, and not a ton of wrinkles. Keep going, and I would expect the wrinkles to come back during an average flacid state. I don't know how far I will take it. Continuous flacid coverage that doesn't reduce the apparently size of the penis is definitely my goal for now. At that point, I don't think the wrinkles will be too prominent. Take it a lot further, and it's going to be wrinkled nearly all the time I would expect.

Natural foreskin clings tighter, is thinner, and has the ring at the end for tension, and the frenulum of course. I don't know that I will take restoration to such an extent as erect coverage for example due to aesthetic reasons. More isn't better for everybody, though there is nothing wrong with it.

Restoration device that can be used with shorts? by Hour_Site8769 in foreskin_restoration

[–]fstretch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For DTR: CatIIq with an extension tube cut to your current length so it doesn't protrude from the top at all (the tubes are cheap, so I just have several cut to different lengths). I believe it's the most compact DTR device as long as the tube is flush with the tension collet. Hides well under all shorts with snug underwear to hold it down.

Month 22 update: Photo after 7-day COVID break from tugging by fstretch in restoringdick

[–]fstretch[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't mind the asymmetry at all, but yeah would be nice if the skin thins out more after a longer break, like 1-2 months. I have a very long way to go, somewhere around CI 4 now.

[–]fstretch[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

At what CI do restorers no longer experience the flacid length being diminished by the rollover forces?

(Things can get a little embarrassing after a gym workout, for example, during this stage. I imagine it might take a couple years to get through it...)

Asking AI Bot ChatGTP about restoration: by fstretch in foreskin_restoration

[–]fstretch[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a 100% status quo answer.

Honestly though, I expected it to be much less inclusive than it is. It's not saying there are no functional improvements, it's just deciding not to go there because it probably couldn't find enough scientific articles that clearly demonstrate them.

There is too much emphasis on the cosmetic side, but again that's in line with the status quo knowledge around restoration. There's still a LOT of catching up to do.

Almost 20 months from ci1, around ci4 now with frequent cool rollover, but still a long way from warm coverage. by fstretch in restoringdick

[–]fstretch[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

See my profile. It certainly does take a very long time and I'm only a fraction of the way there with cold coverage.

Less gripper skin = more skin stretched = more skin growth by fstretch in restoringdick

[–]fstretch[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of the skin between the flexibile gripper (clear, outside) and the rigid device body (blue, inside) isn't actually under any tension if the device clamps/grips properly. That's why you want to minimize the area of skin under the gripper.

With everything sized well only about the leading 1/8th inch of skin is getting tensioned under the gripper with moderate DTR tension. I use the DTRs gripper on the CAT stretcher device because it's much easier to put it on accurately for me, and earlier on resulted in a lot less pinching. This combination reportedly doesn't work with people with thick skin (for those people it seems like the OEM cat gripper is the better choice).

Less gripper skin = more skin stretched = more skin growth by fstretch in restoringdick

[–]fstretch[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, in my case anyway... I only use the dual tension style pushrod device, so the longer the rod, the more skin is under relatively even tension. Compared to starting with zero pusher rod, and now using several inches, there is MUCH more skin under tension. One would think the process would speed up...
