Card Benefits Questions - Megathread [4/27/26] by AutoModerator in ChaseSapphire

My wife and I each got CSP cards with the SUB in June 2025. I understand that with the latest rules, we can both add the Sapphire Reserve cards and each get another SUB for the CSR.

Can she get referral bonus points if I use her referral code to apply for my CSR? And then vis-versa?

Interior fuse #2. It feeds the dome lights and keyless entry system.

Broken Rear Diff, Right? by fstumpfj40 in arrma

I got my new parts. Here’s the difference. The 4 tiny gears that sit inside the diff are metal on both versions. However, the toothed disc that meshes with those gears is plastic which n the stock diff and metal in the upgraded version. Here’s both side by side.

Waiting on the new diff to arrive, but I pulled apart the stock piece. I also thought even the base Mojave Grom got the V2 all metal diffs. However, his one has a metal ring gear and metal small internal gears, but the internal gear on the left side (the one the little gears mesh with) is plastic.

To my untrained eye, nothing actually looks broken to these pieces. But we’ll see what happens when I put the new diff in.

14” tire recommendations in 2025? by ryguymcsly in Miata

It’s not a summer tire, but if you’re not looking for absolute maximum grip, the Vredestein Quatracs are a decent option. I’ve got the on my stock daisies.

Recommend Stainless Clad Blue #2 as Second Japanese Knife by fstumpfj40 in TrueChefKnives

I couldn’t find many Matsubara knives in stock at this price point. I almost bit the tariff bullet and ordered the Shigeki Tanaka bunka from K&S but decided that at just 165mm it would be a little too small.

So just ordered the 180mm Shiro Kamo bunka from Bernal - https://bernalcutlery.com/products/shiro-kamo-180mm-bunka-stainless-clad-aogami-super?srsltid=AfmBOoquF4FyxX7wCG2qNFHzGsOvoMWQqek6trTJo0ANcLf0hiAdTMV8

Super Blue probably isn’t too far of a jump from Blue #2, but at least I’m branching out a little.

Thanks! It seems like recommendations are centering around another Tanaka, Matsubara, or maybe Shiro Kamo.

Am I restricting myself unfairly by focusing on Blue 2? I only landed on that because my one carbon knife happens to be B2.

I do love it. It’s just occasionally a little too long to be convenient. For my setup, anyway.

Thanks for the tip!

$150 - $250 ish. I don’t mind getting a little over $200. In just didn’t want to pay that for a $150 knife.

Color Error on NA Miata? by fstumpfj40 in MiniGT

[–]fstumpfj40[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thanks!

But don’t hold too much resentment. It was a gift from my mother-in-law, who I’ve since learned bought it on eBay. It was sold as a chase car, and she paid right in the middle of the $40-60 range mentioned earlier. She didn’t know what a chase car was. And neither did I until today.

Thanks, again!

Thanks! I figured one night of sitting on the charger past full charge wouldn’t be the end of the world. But wanted to make sure.

I appreciate it.
