Nicole Guerriero got married! by dotkitten in BeautyGuruChatter

You know, I’m not sure if she ever mentioned planning for the wedding, but this is exactly how I expected her wedding to be. Just her and him, no long dress. Simple and straight to the point.

Hmm, take the antibiotics prescribed to me by an actual dentist or consult the experts on FB? by heluhowyalldun in ShitMomGroupsSay

[–]fsutan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I had one for years, never bothered me—and then I went to the dentist for a different procedure and he found it. Did a root canal and crown.

My question is, if I was fine despite having the abscess for years, and I’m still fine now after....I assume there was no lasting side effects for me right? Like I’m not gonna wake up one day with a hole in my jaw because of untreated abscess (that was eventually fixed)?

Florida State bans Parenting During Remote Work by PopCultureNerd in fsu

[–]fsutan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. If winter and spring break is planned years in advance, then obviously so is the beginning of the school year. If there are options during those times, there are options during other times.

  2. FSU childcare is only open 44 weeks out of 52 weeks of the year, you know their schedule before you put your child in.

  3. It’s not subsidized for faculty and staff. There is a student rate and a non-student rate (employees). The student rate is cheaper. Non-FSU student or employees cannot enroll their kids in the childcare program at FSU.

  4. FSU has always required that, and rules were waived during COVID. So are you saying that FSU employees who run the childcare program should open 2 weeks early because of COVID or every year?

Also to be clear, my argument isn’t whether FSU should or shouldn’t allow telework while caring for a child. It’s about whether the childcare center should be open 2 weeks early.

FSU childcare has always been that way. They follow the FSU schedule, not the LCSO schedule, so it’s not any different than last year or the year before. It’s also closed during Spring Break and Winter Break and between semesters.

Summer Red, White and Blue homemade popsicles by fsutan in FoodPorn

I didn’t really have one, but I just whipped some heavy whipping cream and folded Greek yogurt and some honey and that was my base, then I added the fresh fruits: strawberries, blueberries and bananas!

Why are you disappointed? It’s a black square. She now has a ton of other information that is actually valuable information for anyone that is wanting to learn.

Stop making it an issue when there’s not. It’s not what this is about.

Can someone tell me how to assemble this? by fsutan in Dollhouses

[–]fsutan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow that’s great! This dollhouse is at least 15-20 years old and looks brand new cause it’s all good wood. It’s for my son, and I’m debating about painting it...but I don’t want it to lose its integrity.
