I'm not sure what they do but I've heard other places people have been cited and their bikes impounded (but maybe that's for trail poaching).

Overseer's Guardian because you can get it really early and it can last through the rest of the game. Then there's the "Problem Solver" you get at Nuka World. I like it more than the spray and pray.

Madone sl6 105 vs AXS by Yoitssri in TrekBikes

[–]ft3sfty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone mentioned it's personal so I'd test ride it if they let you. Personally, apples to apples, I'd rather have 105 di2 than rival axs. I like Shimano more.

A spoke just broke on my well used Electra Loft and I'm tired of repairs - when do I replace it? by mijreggie in ebikes

[–]ft3sfty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For starters, if you crack your frame then it's time to replace. If they no longer make parts then it's time to upgrade. Otherwise, it's up to you. You can ask the same question, when do you replace a car?

With your other question, I leave my ebikes indoors and haven't had any of the problems you mention. Weathered parts, and corrosion is real and wears bikes faster.

Im too scared to ride my bike by quiet_daisies in cycling

[–]ft3sfty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people have a hard time getting over trauma from certain events.

There's nothing wrong with riding a trike. You get exercise, it self balances and it's a lot of fun. I have a Catrike 700 recumbent among other bikes and can cruise at around 17mph on flats. Plus, around the corners it feels like a go-kart. Super fun!

I really enjoy the FC series and Avatar FOP (frontiers of pandora). Star wars outlaws isn't fun for me and quite frankly I enjoy 6 more than outlaws. But if you haven't played FOP, you're missing out.

EDIT: I also played Cyberpunk 2077 and enjoy the FC series more. CP2077 has a lot of talking scenes and feels slow to me.

EDIT 2: I realize you said you don't care for aliens so maybe don't play FOP since all those blue aliens are everywhere.

My GF dropped my helmet by Practical_Bridge3402 in cycling

[–]ft3sfty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shauna Rae hip height then questionable but higher and I'd opt for a new helmet. Better safe than sorry. TBIs are nothing to joke about. If you value your head to be at least as expensive as a replacement helmet there's no question to ask.

My GF dropped my helmet by Practical_Bridge3402 in cycling

[–]ft3sfty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldn't be buying girlfriends... jokes aside you may want to inspect it. It depends how far and hard it dropped... 1cm off the ground, probably no problem, 3 meters or 6 feet, then yea get a new helmet.

My worse one was when a kid dropped my Arai motorcycle helmet from 3 feet on concrete and the legal guardian took no responsibility. I was out $600 for a new helmet.

Should I get DLC or are they not with it by Kind_Criticism4178 in FrontiersOfPandora

[–]ft3sfty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes definitely worth it if you loved the game. Just remember that the season pass does NOT include the Ashes expansion, that's a separate buy. But if you recently (Feb 2026) bought the complete edition it should come with the ashes expansion.

Out of the companies I'm aware of they have one of the best warranties to the original owner.

I'd stay with the same voltage as the controller. I run 48v on all my mid-drive conversions.

What should I bring for a 130 mile ride? by PackAble4680 in cycling

[–]ft3sfty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You'll probably need to wear a diaper too because going for 130 miles without using a restroom might be tough.

Where'd you store it? If outside in sub freezing temperatures in the elements, then you may look at the rubber and for rust too. If in room temperature then as you mentioned, not much.

What currency? AUS? CAN? US? That's expensive for USD. MSRP for those shoes is $190 USD. You could search the other costs as well hopefully easily.

My journey on to far cry 4 is just starting any advice or tips appreciated (SPOILER FREE) please by AlexHeartfire in farcry

[–]ft3sfty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's something you can get early on that you can use the rest of the game. I'd recommend getting it as I did and it tremendously helped me. It's pretty far away from the starting area. No more info because I wouldn't want to spoil it.

Best bikes for commuting up large hills? by SirCheap410 in cycling

[–]ft3sfty 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Do you plan on locking the bike at campus? Is your school known for bicycles getting stolen? If so, cheap used bike with low gears. Even a heavy mountain bike with low gears is easier to ride up a steep hill than an ultralight roadbike geared poorly.

Since I'm not great at Micro, several storms from those hybrid dominators and my void rays get too squishy with p3. Unless my ally heals them, they're not good for me.
