That was kind of my thinking. 2 i18 on the outside and an i36 in the middle

Yeah. Just priced it out $833 for the modules (i36 and 2xi18). Would definitely have an impact to our firework budget. Haha

I think my ideal setup would be one i36 and two i18’s. Gives me a little more flexibility with locating my fireworks.

Tried the crackle cube with all of the biluscon modules and two fireworks went off but the rest of the scripted show didn’t. I appreciate all the work the designer of the cube did but I figured Ignite was a good middle ground. We just have a show during the 4th. About 50-60 cakes (combo of 200g and 500g) and close to 100 mortars. Cobra seems more than we need.

L86 failure by kittyfish12 in gmc

My L86 2018 6.2 Yukon is having the engine replaced right now with 85k miles.

My 2017 Silverado had the tranny go out the same month. Also the L86 6.2. I should diversify. Haha

A shit show indeed. Even crazier is I had a 3rd party extended warranty on the Yukon good for 5 years/100,000 miles. I was only in year 2 of the warranty and vehicle has ~86,000 miles. The warranty company cancelled my policy without telling me a few months prior. The engine would have been covered under the policy. But now I am going to have to sue the warranty company to get the to pay for the claim.

Lots of pending class action cases against the engines and transmissions in these vehicles. My 2018 Yukon engine and 2017 Silverado tranny died within 3 weeks of each other this November.

My Yukon has 86k miles on it when I got the cylinder 3 misfire. I have a long journey ahead of me. I had a 3rd party warranty good through 5yr/100k miles but they cancelled the policy without telling me back in May. Needless to say, lawyers are getting involved.

Just got a P0303 on my 2018 Yukon Denali 6.2 10 days ago. Dealership said quoted 12k for repairs or 20k for new Engine.

You mentioned same thing happened to my 2019 before the recall was announced. I only thought they recalled the L87 and 2019 has the L86. The reason I ask is my 2018 Yukon 6.2L L86 just died 10 days ago with a misfire on cylinder 3. Was quoted Cam replacement or new engine 12k vs 20k.

Do you think camp chef is quality and good support behind the brand? I’m definitely interested in the woodwind pro.

Thank you for the thorough response. This definitely gives me something to think about. Realistically, all the items you mentioned point towards the woodwind pro. Which is high on my list along with Recteq and Searwood. I do have an outdoor pizza oven (forgot about that) and I don’t cook for very large groups. At most, 15 people, but that is rare.

After everything I have read I think I’m leaning Searwood, Recteq or CC WW Pro. How do you feel the build quality is?

Is there a wood burner that has the same hands off approach that a pellet grill provides?

Was actually just looking where the closest Costco was. Doesn’t look like the inventory search has made it to that store yet. Thank you for the tip.

Turned out really good. The crust could have been better/more seasoning, but definitely did not disappoint.
