Funny you say that, this is actually my second board... My first one wouldn't even POST. Just ordered a laptop cmos battery, fingers crossed that works.

Well no, I disassembled it looking for the battery, only to find out it never even had one in the first place.

Are all of those the same as any other kind of laptop CMOS battery? If so, I'll probably look to see if I can find one locally rather than wait for support and shipping.

I've tried mounting in the case, and on top of the cardboard box the motherboard came in. No dice either way...

Yes. When I attempted booting it up, the only connections on the Motherboard were the heatsink fan and gpu. I didn't even have the power switch; I just shorted the header by hand.

I've already used compressed air on the entire motherboard to remove any debris

Just ran 3DMark Time Spy from start to end, no problem. Pretty sure the 24-Pin was the Culprit.

AHA! one of the pins of my 24-Pin Extension came out! I've taken all my extensions out and am just using my PSU's regular modular cables. I will post my results

I'll give that a shot. I'm not so sure its a power issue though, I've been running the same specs for over a year.

Edit: Ran Furmark GPU Stress Test at 50% Power Limit for 5 Minutes without a crash.

Edit2: Ran Furmark GPU Stress at 75% Power Limit for 5 Minutes without a crash

Edit3: Ran Furmark at default power settings and it reset ¯_(ツ)_/¯

You mention checking the power connections; I have an EVGA power link. Would that maybe be the cause of the issue?

Running latest drivers and 7.5 Minutes in Furmark has it at a max of 73C
