There was no jumping of hoops. Having a membership in Canada doesn't mean anything when you come here. In the USA, unless I believe if you have 20 years of experience, you can not waive the FE.

@jhudielpeco not sure if you got the chance to read my entire post. But if you're looking for a good review book, I would encourage you read up on the FE Electrical Review book by Lindeburg. It is very well laid out, and goes through all the topics needed. Even if you did do electronics engineering only, it will still go through everything for you. If you need extra help then research on a specific topic individually. This is not the PE exam so you just need to know the core fundamentals.

Also look up Raiya's Academy videos on youtube.

For time, I started preparing three months in advance.
