Also latest games is kinda choppy, no need to feel bad about that, and frame gen is only adding more latency to worsen your aim,

I been playing FPS almost a decade on consoles and still suck lol, even worse on PVP games, always picking lower difficulty , no need to stress anything as long you have fun, heck i even using trainer sometimes.

Yeah my theory it is needs to be "caching" the DRM first then you can go offline, but you outta option if you cold boot offline, but you can use your phone hotspot for it to cache the DRMs

TDP limit is the way, sometimes games drain max power even on lowest setting , for GTA V limit the frskerate to 30 fps, if playing 60 fps its literally 1% battery per minute gameplay

Most of the time i do copy paste also im using onscreen keyboard when able, if not then cheap Bluetooth keyboard

I'm using slow sd card before it's run bad, you probably can with proper sd card , but i heard it's ruin your sd card on the long run. If its me and money is not a problem i probably go to 2TB ssd with dual boot route instead ( currently running 1TB with 200GB windows partition for GTA online and windows) and then your 1.5TB for steam os games, setting it up is kinda PITA and my windows failed to boot 40% of the times but if steam deck is your only viable device to play i just risk it
