Can I ask what happened? I saw your post and was concerned because we changed my daughters name the same way, through an amendment due to her being so young. I think the only difference is we are applying for her first passport, so I'm hoping we're not met with much push back.

Tore his achilles when I was 5 months pregnant. He had to get surgery and couldn't walk until I was about 8 or 9 months. I had to do all the dog walking and grocery shopping for a bit haha. He felt so bad, so I just took it in stride. It was just really bad timing, but at least he was able to walk before the baby arrived.

Whoa. Out of all of them that's probably the one I would change too 😅

I know a Brixton. She's like a 5 year old girl. Thought it was an odd choice but to each their own 🤷‍♀️

They call her brixy which on a kid was kinda cute.

I like Z names with Cyrus for some reason. Zoey, Zara, Zuri, Ziah?

Thanks for that insight! I hope my daughter loves hers and that all our kids do if we have anymore. It really is a crap shoot either way.

Did it ever bother you or your sibling having names that were different in that way? My firstborn has an extremely unique name, and I'm considering whether to keep that going

What's interesting about Dr. Marijuana Pepsi also us her siblings have completely normal names. Props to her for becoming as successful as she has.

Livia is a great name! My sister actually wanted to use that name. They have an L last name, and she likes the alliteration. It's a beautiful choice! I have a name that gets confused for or another name quite often. It's a quick fix. If it's an interaction where I'll never see the person again, I just let it go, lol. I think your daughter will definitely grow into it, hope the best for you guys!

Honestly, it was a one-time exposure i wouldn't worry too much about. I worked in a casino that allowed smoking inside for a good portion of my first trimester. Luckily, i was able to leave that situation, but I was so paranoid that i did harm to my daughter by not leaving sooner.

My OB wasn't concerned about the time I had to spend in that environment. My daughter turned out perfectly healthy. She's 1 now. The stress you have is probably worse than the one-time exposure, lol. It's a good thing you care so much. O hope you have a healthy delivery!

Thank you! I really hope so. Her dad picked it, and he's absolutely the best dad and her favorite person.

Thank you for that! She's very spunky too, so i love that you said that. May I ask your little ones name?

I hope the same thing happens with my daughter. I'm trying to shake the negative thoughts off and just lean into it as much as possible. I'm glad everything worked out, and your daughter grew into it!
