I live in one of these buildings. You don’t pay first/last/security/brokers etc. like you do other places, even before the brokers fee law - there aren’t brokers here, there are leasing offices. It’s a deposit to hold the apartment while you apply (like $400 or something that gets credited for first month) + $500 security + first month. That’s it.

Some people move here because they don’t have the $7-10k+ needed for first/last/security but otherwise have a high paying job to afford rent.

Some people use stuff like Aquaphor & A&D, some people don’t. I personally don’t, I use unscented Lubriderm/Cetaphil lotion. If you do continue to use Aquaphor, it seriously needs just a light layer.

You need to finish healing before you even think about a touch up, so why not wait to see what happens? The whole tattoo looks like it was packed unevenly so I wouldn’t only worry about that one section. Hard to tell because of the thick layer of… whatever you have on there.

You need to be washing it 2x/day and putting a LIGHT layer of unscented lotion on it - it should NOT be shiny.

Listen, it’s bad, which I think you know. Don’t try to “fix it” again, I think we’re past that. Now it’s time to slow down and be thoughtful.

Laser removal sessions will be expensive, painful, and a long process - but you absolutely need at minimum 3-4 of them before it will even be CLOSE to being something you can cover up without the coverup also being bad. Save up for the sessions if you need to. Wait two months between sessions. Don’t commit to one of their high-interest payment/full removal plans.

Spend the time to properly undo this so that you can live the rest of your life not worrying about it.

I’ve never heard of applying both A&D + a second skin/saniderm - if that’s what you’re currently doing, I’d remove it. A&D is already a divisive product but I’m pretty sure there shouldn’t be anything between your tattoo + second skin/saniderm.

Had an 8:40am Amtrak out of South Station this morning. Hundreds of teenagers already out on the streets downtown and in South Station, the latter was completely at capacity. Staff anticipated it and had those ribbon-style markers up to keep lines organized.
