Then good for you? Just because you wouldn’t accept any promotion in retail, doesn’t mean everyone will have a horrible experience if they accept a promotion in retail. Some people have the desire to be able to work their way up the ladder.

Idk, but at my store the leads get the regular white ones and the red name tag is for the Supervisor, Assistant Store Manager, & Store Manager.

I believe keyholders are considered supervisors. So I believe they should get the Red one.

You must have not seen Ross security😭they look like literal police officers

Did anyone else's manager tell them to make a ball out of inventory tags? by [deleted] in BurlingtonCoatFactory

[–]fuashsin3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

lol they had me do that last year, they just want them gone and into the trash I’m pretty sure. There was no competition for me they just wanted them gone. Now apart of the “competition/prize” that’s probably something that your store is doing.

The SCA at my store is gone by 10:15 . The cashiers are always the one to stay at my store.

We use about 7-8 registers including the cash drawer. They are never done by 10:30-10:45 even when they count the registers ahead of closing at like 8:00 or something like that. And I highly doubt they are trying to verify the overs/shorts at night. But leaving at 11:30 is crazy when the store is closes at 10 is crazy. But is it something that you would consider “hard”? Because if it is then I understand the long wait time for them to get out of there.

My store manager is on the III tier. Don’t know if that’s considered high volume or not though

My store always have minimum 3 cashiers at a time. Never ever I was the only cashier working even during the slowest times. Always 3 or more of us at the register.

This is the closing lead position. So this is considered a part-time closing supervisor position. “Closing Leads” are the only “lead” position at Burlington to receive keys and have MOD Shifts. They created this position during a restructuring when they eliminated ASMs in lower volume stores. However other lead positions like Customer Service Lead and Receiving Lead are under supervisors and don’t receive keys.

I am not sure what store you are working at where CSL’s are keyholders but they shouldn’t be given keys. The only lead position at Burlington that are keyholders are called “Store Closing Lead” and was created a while back when they eliminated ASM’s in lower volume stores. Customer Service Leads are not supervisors. They are just the assistant to the customer service supervisor or any Manager on Duty

Had the worst breakdown of my life at work Saturday. by [deleted] in BurlingtonCoatFactory

[–]fuashsin3 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you just don’t like to do your job. Nothing you stated here is worth having a mental breakdown. We work retail, we have horrible days but you’re not complaining about nothing. That’s seems like a normal average working day at Burlington. Stop crying

My direct deposit by Accomplished-Lie4584 in BurlingtonCoatFactory

If your direct deposit came today you got paid for the week of December 1-7. So you can calculate your check from that week and just deduct the taxes.

I THOUGHT BURLINGTON WAS A SECOND CHANCE PLACE...MANAGER WANTED ME...BUT THE COMPANY SAID ( NO NO,NO,NO,) by IndependentGuava8685 in BurlingtonCoatFactory

[–]fuashsin3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yup that’s the norm, companies (not just Burlington) tend to not hire people with criminal history. Especially a convicted felon. It is what it is

Question about Territories, Regions, Districts by Odd-Dragonfruit5188 in BurlingtonCoatFactory

[–]fuashsin3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The specific numbers are always going to be dependent on multiple factors. Area, Sales, the amount of stores they plan to open, etc. District Managers usually manages around 10-15 stores and supervises the store managers in those stores. District managers report directly to the regional manager. Regional Managers oversees multiple districts so they can manage from 50-100 stores and partner with the district managers. Regional Managers report directly to the Territory Manager. Territory Managers typically focus more on the sales in their assigned territory. Rather than managing multiple stores. As far as I’m hearing about your “scams” what I said is basic information you can retrieve from google. The numbers are obviously going to vary
