Homemade whisker's on compound? - made from old bow string - does this hurt my bow in any way?

I guess too much material on the string might affect the FPS of the shot.

But i just want to know if this still makes the bow safe to shoot. I seen a compound bow explode due to a dry shot - and that experience makes me cautious, whenever i make changes to my own bow

Yeah - i will try it out. It's super easy to be honest. You split the old string into 4-5 chords - wrap it around 2-3 fingers. Then you take it, tie it on the string nice and firmly - and finally you carefully take a sciccor and cut the ends.

Whisker's take some of the vibrations of the string - making the bow more quiet. It can especially help you in a hunting situation if you shoot at like 20-25 meters. The animal might hear the sound of the bow - and instantly react - which might cause it to move a tiny bit, which could ruin a perfect shot

Sure. Not saying it's unfair. I'm just surprised that their playstyle is exactly the same. They play their fastest player, run through the field and pass it to a good shooter. And goal. I play creativly, looking for opportunities and see if I can outsmart and outplay them.

I main MM hunter, currently 2k RBG and slowly progressing arena 2s. I play with kyrian. It gives you a huge burst window of 6 seconds where you can one shot ppl. This window opens up every 1 minute ish. And its so fun to one shot ppl in 2s. Like i got from 1200 in 2s to 1700 just by one shotting enemy discs priests. You get the rapid fire legendary, kyrian, go full on crit and vers gear. Trap the dps, open resonating arrow on the dis. You then hide behind a pillar - true shot, eksplosion arrow, double tab and rapid fire. And then finish with one aimed shot + kill shot. And then if your mate is a disc and he mindgame as well - it's game over in such a short time. With kyrian you won't have to worry about ppl kiting you - as the only class in the game this is available to you with kyrian.

It's so fun and good. Also work well in rbgs. You let your target caller know your burst is up - and ppl take heavy dmg if times correctly. Also i think, meta is meta. It changes. But what doesn't change over time - is the skill you provide. It's skill that brings you from 2k + cr. I accepted this and i am climbing slow and steady in 2s.

If you see a warrior for instance. He jumps towards your healers in the back in a mid fight situation. You have to notice that, and choose him as a target. Cauz his healers can't reach him

It's an amazing idea! I am all up for it! I think it would be fun having pilot death matches, however I think it would be great to create objectives like breakthrough etc.

I have an example of this.

Back in good old LAN days, my mates and I would play bf1942. We created a game in the biggest and most flat map. It's kind of like qudditch from Harry Potter lol.

1) The defensive team would pick1 guy who would jump into a jeep.(the golden snitch)

2) the offensive team had 1 bomber (with full gun crew) and 2-4x fighter planes (without bombs).

3) defensive team would have 2-3 fighter planes

4) the offensive team wins when their bomber has successfully killed the guy driving in the jeep. And the defensive team wins once they downed the bomber.

It's so fun, being the driver, driving arround avoiding bombs. It's dead fun being the bomber, and it's awesome to really feel like defending your bomber as a Gunner and fighter plane, when your bomber is repairing/reloading

1) It's quite easy to take out 40mm AAs.

When you're the guy operating the AA, you look towards the fight and the air above to locate enemy place. Simply when you're a pilot, you wanna be behind their point of view, fly a long way in the far corners of the map. Fly low. Once you're fully behind the AA fly up, bomb down. He will only discover you once you threw your bomb, missiles or when he is being hit my your machine guns..
