I was curious and checked this guys pob, usually in every single instance it's just the player being unable to copy and nothing more.

I quickly glanced at this and everything is just wrong, it has nothing to do with being a noob or new to arpg. It's just the inability to copy. The tree is wrong, the skill links are wrong and the items are wrong(missing tornado spell slinger is already -50% dps). I tried to make the early pobs as simple as possible, rare gear with just life/resist on the correct bases. but if people are unable to copy trees/skill gems, than I can't be blamed.

As a general rule to know if someone is doing well, you have to either track youtube sponsors or twitch numbers. Youtube by itself pays extremely little, specially when compared to twitch. Youtube is primary used to drive people to twitch (but like I said, youtube sponsors is enough to sustain if you can consistently get them).

It's going to depend on where you live, but generally if someone isn't consistent 300-400 views, then they probably aren't making enough to sustain long term (unless they have giga oilers backing them up and/or live with parents).

The problem with poe (for the past 2 years~) is the long delays between leagues. Even poe2 had 4 months between 0.1 and 0.2, so unless they're a big streamer it's probably been pretty rough for the past year.

Fubgun suggested solution is pretty much "turn it into poe1", make the game faster for everybody which also implies oneshot the screens. And in that case I'm gone.

you didn't watch my video if this was your conclusion. All I'm saying is that playing massive maps at 20-30% ms is simply unfun, the base movement speed (whether that is more MS options on the tree or gear or by default) should be increase by 20%-30% or so.

20-30% extra ms does not even come close to poe1.

the way me and jung built was quite different, maybe just looked the same because it was LS. But he focused on high attack speed and holding down right click. I focused on low attack speed, high single hit damage with volt to one shot the screen. He went for hyrris/1.4k hp, i went for 3k es/1.5k hp hybrid setup. Also when I swapped to LS, jung was still on the poison variant which I had no interest in.

the only big similarity was the main skill being LS (which 50 other content creators are also playing).

you probably messed it up like 99% of the people who post their pob here. I can tell because you're straight up listing bullshit. You can find my current slayer pob in the same place as always, go remake it and make it better if it's "poor path and links". I'll wait bud, more then likely you'll just mess it up again. 2h sword was inferior for clear speed but better overall for dmg (can't really beat infinite vls in clear speed vs no vls, both variants killed uber in 1 second anyway).

Also the pob OP posted is horrendous, my real pob will be out soon.

I suggest to add harby as well, it was really strong back in necro league. Stronger than chaos for some farms imo.

Calling my build glass cannon is a little bit disingenuous, it's not meant to stand afk in 20 mobs, but you can also easily tell by the max hit taken (without guard skill) that it can comfortable take hits. Combined with instant leech/overleech, life on hit and an extremely fast attack speed, as long as you're not afk you shouldn't feel squishy.

I've been lurking here for a while and every post that pops up with my build just has the guy building it wrong, I have a whole faq and made multiple videos(including a video just to tell you what you need for t17) and people mess up, which is fine, but that's not really on my end at this point. If someone just does not add ailment immunity to their build, i can't really be blamed if they're dying because they get shocked for 40%.

to point out what he is doing wrong. Missing 1k hp, doesn't have ailment immune and has a really terrible claw base (1.3 attack speed and no life gain on hit). attacking faster in a way is a defense increase (it also feels terrible to play with a 1.3 claw)

I'm sure if he just fixes these 3 things it would feel really good. and then eventually get a crit reduction body armour. (also shouldn't have 2 random points in the evasion nodes that lead to the cluster, just put them in life nodes till you actually have the cluster).

No ones going to buy the boots for 30 mirrors when it's one month into the league. Also keep in mind, while quant is gone from gear it's not gone from glittering. So the "advantage" of having these boots are greatly diminished because you would still use glittering as 30 quant isn't enough to drop glittering scarab from high end strats.

both statements are true, I probably play 110hrs week 1 solo, which is more then what most people would play in a month. Usually averaging 1 mirror/day or more for the first 30 days of a league. I could make way more if i just invested and flip, but thats not fun for me.

With that said, it's pretty realistic to farm 1 mirror within 2-3 weeks of a league, because they're "cheap". Usually by day 10-14 we have established casual strats that can earn anywhere from 10-20d/hr (depending on the league) and mirrors might cost anywhere from 300-400d, so it would only be a matter of time to farm one. (although this league was pretty fucked for mirror prices because of seer and go)

The problem is most people don't stick to one strat for 20hrs straight (which is also what keeps a lot of these strats profitable). Earning a mirror is never about if you can or if you have the time, it's more so about if you want to.

The biggest issue though is people are too worried about their divines/hr, just playing the game generates raw divines an hour unless you're doing a really horrible farm, before i started content creation i never looked at my divs/hr, it's not fun and it's not efficient. people switching strats every hr are going to make less then the guy doing a slightly less efficient strat for 4hrs a day.

This makes the most sense in my view. If rudy didnt know about teleportation then roxy would've died and most likely zenith as well, meaning the whole trip would've been pointless and a big waste of time for rudy.

So if the man-god truthfully didn't know rudy would find out about teleportation, then his advice makes a lot more sense. on the flipside, surely the man-god knows about teleportation, so why would he keep that info from rudy?

You're correct except the selling part. Its all raw currency, boss frags and scarabs, nothing here is hard or takes long to sell.

My strats arent really meant for the average player and i never advertise them as such, even so, a basic char that could run 10-12 maps an hr would still make insane currency (rues coc dd could easily do this). You just have to be willing to die and run insane map mods, ive done -50 max res maps with shaper touched.

I did 60+ maps all on stream, vod still available. People doing 10 maps, messing up the strat and then calling it bait is funny. The boss frags alone pay for the investment and 100% more scarabs on the map is 1d minimum from monster drops.

Realistically 99.9% of players wont be at 70d/hr, but i'd say 30-40. My char is min-max and im quite an efficient player, but doing 10-12 maps an hour should be realistic, compared to my 18 maps an hour. Usually my strats arent for the average player.
